I think the Blazers need a little more in their new roster. We have retained Nic Batum and even signed Ronnie Price, but I think it is time to sign a veteran center who could help us on the offensive and defensive end. I don't think anyone has offered a contract to JaVale McGee and I think he could help us a great deal. He may be a headcase and he makes some questionable moves on the court but he averaged about 11 points per game, 8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game. If not we could sign other centers like Steimsma, Ronny Turiaf, or Jermaine O'Neal. I think it would be a mistake to not try and pick up one of these quality centers.

Jermaine ? Negative. Ronny only because he's french and Batum would have a homeboy. Javale would be my first choice.

Denver has offered a contract to McGee and Min is in the front in dealing with Steimsma. The only center I can think of that is still available is Prz.

i really want to see the thrylla take leonard under his wing, they both have that i wont back down, dont even think about messing with me or my team mates attitude. the thrylla needs to pass the golden gloves to leonard.

didnt we get freeland already? i thought i heard he was a big guy? that would be 2 young centers, a vet, and we have hickson who can split minutes between pf and center. we'll be fine. im all in favor of adding javale if we can though

We should survive with Freeland, Leonard and ocasionally Hickson at center + maybe hire one minor C like Amundson (I think he's still available) or Chris Johnson or sign that guy Ebekwe(?) who plays for us in summer league

Ebekwe would be an interesting addition but he is a project in himself. I do not think he would be very useful giving advice to Leonard. Maybe Freeland could give advice to each of them. I still think Prz would be a good addition to mentor to the youngsters. Maybe the birdman could be of some help and then again maybe not.

I think our roster is full at 15 players. Were gonna have to make a trade or waive Sasha P. Once we waive him I would sign Joel P. He can be 3rd string center behind Leonard and Freeland. Than he can teach Meyers somthing.

Trade away some baggage (Babbitt, Sasha, Jefferies, Gadzuric) for draft picks and a decent old center with an expiring contract. Or trade for future picks (2013 would be great to trade up) then sign Przybilla for a year, to start and split time with Leonard, and Freeman.

In order to sign both Ibekwe and Prz we would to Waive both Gadzuric and Pavlovic and let another player go or do a sign a trade in a two for one trade.

Gadzuric has already been waived I believe. Send Babbit to Idaho and sign Pryz and we're good to go. Sasha Pavlovic and Victor Claver are better than Luke Babbit anyday.

That guy is hated at the Rose Garden. The only other person I've ever seen get booed like that is Kobe. I would rather they waive Babbit than Pavlovic. Definitely keep Joel if he wants to continue playing. If not Turiaf would be nice as someone said. Or trade a few of our future second rounders(I seem to remember us picking up a few in recent trades) and Pavlovic/Babbit/Jeffries for a serviceable big.

ok "prz" is a shell of his former self and would be over priced even at sum vet minimum, hes a great character guy but i think we've got enough "character" guys! ive never heard of a team winning a ring on "character" lol. i like leonard alot but hes not ready to start yet, i watched every summer league game the blazers played and he was impressive but its also summer league...plus, lets not forget, the only reason this guys got so many starts under his belt is cuz odens health should be put on trial for fraud, not cuz of his talent level

Leonard will be a perennial all-star some day. I just hope he will be like Chris Bosh who is the 5th best player on the team behind LA, Lilard,Wes, and Batum, but will still get a 15, 10, 2, 2, 1, per game

I think Leonard has the potential to be like a 11-12 points 7-8 reb 2 blk guy. Hopefully he wont take too long to become that guy...

higher ceiling then that imo hes a double double guy for sure imo he's got great hands and a good stroke and jumping ability and quickness to be a 2+ block guy
