    Ok so we've lost:
    1)B-Roy(never really played last year but...)---->TIMBERWOLVES
    2)Marcus Camby--------->NY KNICKS
    3)Jamaal Crawford----->LA CLIPS
    4)Raymond Felton------>NY KNICKS
    5)Kurt THomas---------->NY KNICKS
    6)Nicholas Batum???---->TIMBERWOLVES?????
    Am I missing anybody?

    All this money that we have available now, who will this go towards batum...?

    Leonard/Freeland
    LA/Hickson
    Jefferies/Clavier

    We could start LA at center and Hickson at PF. Batum is not on my list because either we don't match or we trade after signing from a position of power instead of the weak position we are presently in.

    correct me if i'm wrong but... if the blazers do indeed match on batum... he isn't able to be traded until next FA period.

    fairly sure if hes matched he will be a blazer until at least next year.

    Sorry, I thought he could be traded at the trade deadline before the playoffs, If we are not in the playoffs. Then he can be traded next year pre-draft if we want to.

    lineup assuming a batum signing:
    pg: lilliard/smith
    sg: matthews/barton/E-will (whenever hes healthy he may challenge barton)
    sf: batum/claver/babbitt (though babbitt could be second, dont know much about claver)
    pf: aldridge/hickson/jeffries
    c: leonard/freeland (though leonard wont get starter minutes right away, the center position will be platooned for the year with all the bigs)

    They has a specialist come in 2008 and say flat out that Oden and Roy were going to have knee issues. If you know the knees are going to be a potential issue then as a training staff you need to work on strengthening that area, healing it and help...

    Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
