Why aren't the Blazers considering Brandon Roy? If he's healthy and making a comeback, we could sure use his skill set and leadership. Top that with the fact that he's an established Portland product loved by fans and functioned well with LA. Hate to see him go elsewhere and come back to haunt us like so many others before him.

Because they can't... They amnestied him last year which means he won't be able to come back to us until 2014. He can sign with any team but Portland

Minnesota Timberwolves are offering him a two-year contract.  They originally drafted him. They are the first team to offer him a contract, although LA is said to be interested also.

    now Chicago talking to Roy.

in retrospect, does everyone agree that using the amnesty on Roy was still the right move, even seeing that he coming out of retirement?

Still the right move, yes. Unless he miraculously grows back cartilage in his knees, he will never be more than a role player at best.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
