    I have to disagree with this, as Phil Jackson hates it in Portland and has expressed that in the past, and is actually probably one of the things that Paul Allen could not afford!

    We need somebody with a pedigree that can attract superstars.  The draft is going to be important and we are well positioned there, but if we don't bring in a coach and a system that can attract a first option superstar to play with LMA then we will have failed.  If Paul Allen is serious about rebuilding and this isn't just window dressing to prepare for unloading the team, he needs to open his wallet.  And no, nobody is too expensive for Paul Allen.
