I know, I know, it's only three games into the season, and our only games played have been on our home floor, but I completely dig what I see.  The players, given barely any time at all to prepare or practice, appear to be gelling and will only get better once the season progresses and they get into a rhythm.
Marcus Camby has 9 blocks, and Batum had four in last night's game alone.  With those two, and Kurt's ability to take the charge, it will allow Wesley and Wallace to control the fast break.

    Defensively:

In Rebounds Per Game, the Blazers are the only Western Conference team in the top three, with New Orleans being number five.  They have a +8.33 differential.

Blocks Per Game: Portland is third in the NBA behind New Orleans and Miami, 7.67 at home.  They are third in differential with +3.34 behind Toronto and Miami, respectively.

    Offensively:

In Points Per Game, Portland is number two in the NBA, behind the Denver Nuggets.  Portland has 106.33, to Denver's 111.33.  They are second in differential to Atlanta (+11.66 to +27.00)

In Free Throw Percentage, the Blazers are number two in the NBA behind Indiana, shooting .824 at home.

Assists Per Game is the same story.  A +6.67 gives them fourth in the NBA, they are fifth at home (23.00) and only give up 16.33 a game.

Sure, it's only three games into the season, and three HOME games, but this team is looking wonderful.  The road trip will be a good one, and I see Portland winning the road trip 2-1, with the one loss being to the Clippers or Thunder.
I am a fan of Cambus taking a team to the finals after another lockout.

I love how the facts back up the 3-0 story...no crazy one man shows to explain the result...just good old TEAM basketball.  Sure with Roy was a part of this but I have a feeling that it's because he's not that we are witnessing the success so far.  Roy served a great purpose - took away the shame of being a Blazer fan - letting us wear our Blazer Swag proudly!

Just be sure we all remember how good it feels when the roller coaster goes up. Because there will be a time when it goes down for awhile and then the ride isn't as great.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
