    Hello everyone,
    It has been quite some time since I stopped by to say hello, but here I am on Preseason Gameday after calling in & texting several shows on the game to leave comments. 
    I want to bring up something I read about, that was texted to Strong At Night (by me): The last time there was an NBA lockout, in 1999, Kurt Thomas and Marcus Camby played for the Knicks, and they took them to the NBA Finals.  Here they are again many years later, and here we are again after a lockout... Deja Vu?

    It seems to be a Retro Reunion for a lot of the team.  Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton, Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas.  Jamal Crawford is teaming up with the two players he scored 50 points on three years ago tomorrow (Golden State vs Charlotte).  Wallace and Felton are known for their street-ballesque highlights, and not to mention again the Cambus NBA Final trip after the '99 lockout.

    This team is going to have chemistry off of the tip.  It's going to be fun to see what happens with these guys, and who knows, maybe we'll be partying like it's 1999. 
    I am a fan of Cambus taking a team to the finals after another lockout.

    I could have guessed Kurt and Camby played together before. I think you make a good point about chemistry. There is clearly a high level of respect for everyone this roster, I think that is grounds to say this is NOT a team to overlook in any sense of the word. 
    I am a fan of Never giving up. I will be a Blazer fan for all of my life. Rip City!

    You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

    Batum is a great fit for their system and is young. Plus a lottery pick and potentially 2 other first rounders would give them a ton of flexibility. 


    If they say no we move on but at least offering the deal publicly will...
