Blazers need some help but we also need to the keep the core together and stay healthy. We need three point shooter, a back up for Aldridge, and another center (if Greg Oden doesn't work out).

Players I feel we need to keep around are Gerald Wallace, LaMarcus Aldridge, Wesley Mathews, Nicolas Batum, Marcus Camby, Brandon Roy (Hopefully he can come back to kick ass next year), Greg Oden (Might as well keep him to see what he has and give him one more chance. Not his fault he got injured).

We need a young point guard. Andre Miller has been good for us but the bad thing is that he is not getting any younger. We either need to trade him off for a young good point guard or find one through free agents and draft and keep Miller to come off the bench. After all that we need to fill the rest of the roster space with young talent that need some work to teach and raise the next generation of great Blazer players.

sigh kevin love would solve a lot of our problems we could start him as center since he sure gets rebounds like one let kevin do the pick and pop 2's and 3's and let lamarcus play more post with gerald backing him up  would be a very unusual front line but would be cool to watch.

Kevin Love would solve a lot of problems but he'd also create a laundry list of new ones.  No thanks.  Keep stat padding and poor defense OUT of Portland please.  Last thing we need is a shotjacking center that can't defend.

Portland needs a stand out leader on the floor.  Roy was good for that when he wasn't injured.

I agree to all I think Kevin Love is a great player but we don't need another great player. We have Roy, Aldridge, and Wallace for that. We need a good role player. Plus Love is to pricey to get since he is a star.

As for a Leader I think Aldridge is our leader for now. I am the first to say that I am the biggest fan of Brandon Roy and when he got injured it really sucked. Are leader and my biggest fan was down. Thankfully Aldridge stepped up to the plate and took charge. For now Aldridge is our guy until Roy can prove himself again (and I really hope he does).

Kevin Love is in his skibbies doing shower commercials. If that's what it takes to be on the All-Star team, then I'm sure as heck glad Lamarcus wasn't chosen for last year's squad.

My opinion, Blazers really don't have to do much.  Right now all they really need is possibly a Power Forward who can consistently come in and grab boards in limited amount of play time. If B-Roy can play at least 60+ games in the season and be healthy when playoffs come around and play 16+ games that's pretty much signing a prime Free Agent. With Brandon it's not a question of if he can contribute...it's if he can stay healthy. Same thing goes for Greg. If those two can come back and stay healthy we are relevant in the Western Conference to go past the second round.

Claver will make a great squad player when he develops his outside shot. His size is an asset because he can guard SF and stretch 4s. If he can be a better rebounder and add a post move to his game we could be looking at a possible answer to our f...

Oden was definitely the best pick coming out of high school and arguably ahead of Durant in the 2007 draft. But the draft is art not science and we really needed a dominant center at the time. If we can get Oden for a short term low-risk deal. Lik...

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
