trade for dwight howard

    i just went on ESPN trade machine and did some trades that we should do and i found that if we trade Dre,armon,and Camby for Dwight Howard should we do it in the summer?

    did you input into the trade machine that howard has mentioned going to the lakers, and there is no incentive for him to come to portland?


    its not just a matter of being able to do it, they have to want to do it. this isnt fantasy basketball....

    but wouldnt getting howard make this team into a copy cat "Big 3" team, with Brandon Roy , Wallace and Howard, now aldridge, thats a big 4!
    careful about that stuff, howard could potentially get ridiculed like Bron, " Why does he need a super team to win?" have ya'll thought about that negative press?
    or is it at least some press? hah

    Howard a Bull? With Noah and Boozer already in place that's very unlikely. No he's more likely going to the spotlight of LA or some other franchise. We're not going to resign Dre just so we can turn around and trade those three Blazers for Howard and Orlando will want some draft pick compensation and a couple young up and coming players for Howard THAT you can count on.

    Umm...I think Dwight Howard on the Blazers would be pretty cool, but very unlikely. I think given the success of the Heat this year, that Dwight, if he does decide to leave Orlando, will try to team up with other all star players in order to compete. Especially with Orlando's struggles and early playoffs exit.

    If Dwight Howard doesn't want to re-sign with the Magic, he's not going to do so with the Trail Blazers. These superstar trades are always contingent upon the superstar player wanting to play for the team that's he's traded to (Carmello being the most recent example). And for some reason, I doubt Howard is jonesing to leave Disneyland for the Pacific Northwest.

    I do think if Dwight Howard wants to team up with other superstars (D-Will or CP3) that they would do it in Orlando. They have a few contracts that are pretty good pieces and they have a very well respected coach (although I heard murmurs of them maybe firing him soon?) and I think that would be the best place to get a good point guard and keep the other pieces to work around.

    They has a specialist come in 2008 and say flat out that Oden and Roy were going to have knee issues. If you know the knees are going to be a potential issue then as a training staff you need to work on strengthening that area, healing it and help...

    Henson will be solid down the road but his ceiling is more like Taj Gibson. He is a great role player but not elite like Sanders and Ibaka could be if people were not so willing to shoot on him.
