Been a Blazer fan for about 10 years. Just re-joined IAATBF site yesterday. Having major Blazer withdrawls and thought this might help me get through the next 5-6 months.

Absolutely love B Roy, never had so much respect for an athlete. Respect for his skills, respect for his mindset, respect for his leadership and respect for the man as a whole. Never met him but I almost feel like he's a friend because of everthing I've seen and heard about him the last 3 years. Also love his sense of humor, as you can see by my avatar.

I am a fan of watching these guys play. I'm a fan of watching these guys win! GO BLAZERS!!!

I really enjoyed Rudy this last season, and can't wait to see him this next season.  He helps bring the smile back to the Blazers.  This team is reminding me more of the Drexler years.

B-Roy is the truth. He has shown dramatic progress each season and it's hard to believe he only has 3 years under his belt. In my opinion Roy, Aldridge, and Batum are the future of this franchise. I'll defend Greg to any doubters but still not sure of what his role will be in the future. Not sure if he will ever be a dominant scorer but we can count on him holding down the paint on Defense and swattin' shots back to Ohio. Zers for life

I am extremely pumped for this coming season!! I have never had so much anticipation for a season to start!! Ever since the '06 draft each off season has been increasingly harder to endure! I cant stop thinking about how much better this team is going to be.  Plus they will be more hungry.  They have felt the anguish of an early exit from playoffs, and that just added more fuel to the fire that is the Portland Trail Blazers!!!
I am a fan of winning it all in 2012!

I hope that is a rhetorical question, because how could you not be pumped? I have so much to address in my next blog already. September is 100 times better than August, and I can't wait for October.

What is keeping me sane at the moment is NBA 2k9....I'm on my 8th season season with the blazer. I've won 5 championships, re-signed Jerryd Bayless;  who might I add nearly left me when he was a free-agent. Roy who won mvp twice already...thanks to me dropping 40 a night with him lol. Aldridge who didn't get into the all-star game until Tim Duncan retired...which took into the third season played. Greg Oden who leads the league in offensive rebounds nearly every year, and is in top 3 in blocks per game.

But yeah, the season can't come any slower.

I have been a fan since 1970. I got pumped when they got Walton, Drexler, Bowie. Pump went without priming after Clyde left, but I was still a fan. Got really pumped when they got LaMarcus. Have been pumped for the last three years, but nothing like this year. We know BRoy and LA are going to do what they do. What I am really anxious to see is Batum, can he continue to develop, GOden, can this be his breakout year, and Webster...will he live up to his potential this year.

If this team hits the ground prepared and ready, we could walk the dog on most any team, most any night, and in most any arena.

    BLAZERMANIA BABY!

I've never been this excited before. This is going to be a good year. B-Roy has finally excepted his a leader, especially after reading the article in the paper this morning about him calling out players. This is it. The brauts and burgers are thawing out, the beer is getting cold, and soon the BBQ will be flaming and then its game time. So, where do we inquire about getting finals tickets?

    I can't wait for tomorrow!

The wife and I are going to our first game of this season.  Being a truck driver does not make it easy for me to go to games, so we got some kick-ass seats for the game.  Section 102, row P, seats 1 and 2.  I'm hoping that this game will be a highlight reel game, being that the Nets are 0-13.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but they are really playing like the Blazers that we've known and loved.

By the way, I love having two centers on our team that put up some good numbers.

Anyone else hitting the Nets game tomorrow?  Let's have a beer!

    My Blazer Fan story:
I became a fan in 1990, when I was 5 years old.  I actually found out about the team through those SkyBox basketball cards as I bought a lot of packs of cards during a Church BBQ outside of my Dad's store. I was bored, got Mom to pony up some Washington's, and had at it. I noticed I got some cards that said Portland Trail Blazers on it and instantly was hooked. Hoops was already my fv. sport so it was a natural fit.

Clyde is my All-Time favorite Blazer with Mercy very close and currently, Travis is definitely my favorite Blazer out there. After getting my 2 year degree at the local CC, it was down to UO and PSU for school and one of the deciding factors in going to PSU was being able to get season tickets to the Blazers. One of the best decisions ever!

I, like many of you, have been through the heartache of the 3 playoff losses in the early 90's, the Memorial Day Miracle in 99 and an unnamed game in 2000 that shall not be spoken of, and of course the Jail-Blazer era. So, even though expectations are high for this year, and we are in a pretty major funk by today's Blazer standards, it could always be worse and the team has given us no reason to believe that they won't turn it around.

I think the reason Lillard says he likes McCollum is because their games are so similar. How can you not like CJ McCollums game. For real Im on the trade LA for the Wizards #3 pick bandwagon, then draft Noel, or trade it, or maybe get DeAndre Jord...

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.
