What is the biggest key to victory?
Holding Charlotte Under 100 Points (4)
     11%
Holding Charlotte Under 40 Paint Points (4)
     11%
Getting 25+ Points From Aldridge (14)
     39%
Get The Crowd Involved (8+ Point 1st Quarter Lead) (6)
     17%
    Ball Movement (20+ Assists) (8)
     22%

Not even two weeks have passed and the Trail Blazers will already be welcoming back Dante Cunningham and Joel Przybilla to Portland and then a week later, Gerald Wallace gets his welcome in Charlotte. Funny how that works out sometimes. Although Portland has had their struggles since the Febraury 24th trade, they found a little rhythm in their victory over the Kings on Wednesday night. Aldridge was more assertive and the guys looked to be having more fun out there.

For Portland to truly play to their potential, the defense needs to step up. Once again the Blazers gave up over 50 points in the pain and allowed the Kings to shoot over 50% from the floor. If Portland plays above their level of competition, Charlotte shouldn't come close to those numbers. The 'Cats score a 3rd worst 94 points per game and only average 44% shooting from the field. Get the crowd involved early, push the tempo and continue to ride the L-Train to victory. As LA goes, this team goes.

I think we need to do everything on that list, if we do we'll win the game. We need to play like last nights 1st half, only 2 turnovers.

Ball movement.  Getting everyone involved obviously gives us more options on the offense.  However, defense needs to win this game for us.  Great defense creates offense.

Agree with Herr.  Defense will be key.  And getting Rudy back healthy would help too!

How about STARTING Gerald? His efficiency is way better as a starter and Batum's shot will not be affected if he comes off the bench.

    Toby's keys to game:

    - Run it! Score 20 fast break points.

    - Tighten up the D, I want at least 5 blocked shots

    - Get greedy, attack the basket. 20+ FT attempts

    1. The bench should score at least 40 points.
    2. Shooting guards unite; hold Stephen Jackson to 20 points and/or combine for 30+
    3. Perimeter D. Keep the Bobcats out of the paint.
    4. Keep the L-Train rolling; 25+ points from our favorite PF.
    5. All of Toby's keys.

I'd like to see Crash get more playing time as well. Injury and old age are the only reasons to bench a former All-Star.

i would say the 3 ball will be a big key to victory in this one, Aldridge and 3's.

    Welcome back RR5!

Yes it was a great win. I couldn't believe we were down by 5 at one point in the 2nd half, even trailed briefly in the 3rd before we blew them out for a 24 point win. It felt like the entire night if we could just hit a shot or two, the floodgates would open. And thanks to Patty Mills' trifectas we just dominated the final 18 minutes of action.

Unless we get another solid bench player out of the deal, no way. Matthews is our best defender, our team leader, and our best three point shooter and clutch shooter. We don''t want to trade that away.

People always forget, why would these guys leave playoff teams to come to PDX? Tony Allen will resign with his western conference semi finalists, Parsons is on of the youngest teams that can actually become a powerhouse, and Belinelli is with the ...

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
