Quick: Blazers will stand pat this trade deadline

    At around 6:20 pm, Jason Quick appeared on NBATV to talk trades. Quick stated that the Blazers would stand pat this deadline. Later, he said Portland was looking into a backup point guard like a Ramon Sessions or a Luke Ridnour if they decided to go after anyone. Finally, Quick talked about the trading for Jamal Crawford this summer, who Portland has had on there wish list for a while.

    i thought it was an aussi term that was derived from a similar sounding term
    Similar to how the Brits talk, and there is a certain word for what its called i just cant think of it.

    I kind of like throwing Rudy in the Gerald Wallace trade rumor, but according to Quick Rudy would just go to Spain.  SMH.  Don't make it hard.

    Rudy's threat is no different than what we have seen from both Joel and Marcus recently.  The empowerment of the individual needs to be addressed in the upcoming CBA.  Period.

    I would be very surprised if something wasn't done with at least Joel's expiring.

    Quick was talking about a backup point gaurd, why not Jonny Flynn? The T-wolves are trying to clear a spot for Rubio and Flynn is on the block. I could see him fitting well with Portland.
