    From NorthJersey.com-
It’s doubtful the Nets will trade Harris, who turns 28 in two weeks, straight up for Miller, who turns 35 next month.

The Nets want to expand the trade and are trying to include disappointing free-agent signing Travis Outlaw, who began his career in Portland. The Blazers are interested in shooting guard Anthony Morrow.

Portland’s backup shooting guard Rudy Fernandez has been discussed, a source said. The Nets have talked about adding another big man so Joel Przybilla and his expiring contract also may be involved.

Don't see Cho taking on Outlaw's contract for ANY reason and would prefer Rudy stay in Portland.  I DO however, see Cho continuing to attempt to work with NJ in an effort to acquire Harris.  GREAT find D!

Hope a deal between Portland and New Jersey goes down. Would love to see Harris and a Blazers uniform. Plus if we got Outlaw back that would be cool because i liked Outlaw and i was sad when he was traded.

I think if Cho really wants Harris for Miller, we will have to take back Outlaw as the bad contract. It's just not a fair swap straight up for those 2 players due to the 7 years age difference.

I don't really like Devin Harris. Andre Miller is awesome, but he isn't in our long-term plans. Harris would suffice as a replacement, but I don't think he will impact this team as effectively as Andre does. Taking in Outlaw's contract is a no-no in my book, especially for his skill-level.

Need to keep Andre, at least another year.  He's keeping this team together, and has another year on his contract.  We can deal him next year.  Outlaw is way over priced for what he brings to the table.  That would be a bad move.

I was up for this awhile ago when Roy made his comments about "him or me", but I do not think we should trade Miller.  Andre's history with teams is that he takes them to where they can go, the teams trade him and they regret it.  Andre is the best man to have with Aldridge and Oden.  Roy was simply frustrated when he made claims of "him or me".  I would much rather keep Andre, who said he wants to play for at least 3 more years, than sign Harris at this point.

As far as getting Outlaw, I'm going to say no.  We're stacked at the SF position, and we traded him for a reason.

as much as I like Andre and what he has done for the team this would be an upgrade only in the fact of the age of Andre. I am a little hesitant on sending any of our big men over to include Sean Marks. All in All though this seems like the best deal that I have seen.Unfortunately I dont know how it will screw with the way things are working now.

I don't know why people are so worried about Outlaws contract.... sure he's being paid over $3M a year, but we're not going to get any cap room to sign FA's anyway and if we did we probably wouldn't get anyone to come up here.  I think Outlaw will play a lot better back in Portland... I also think that getting Devin Harris for Andre Miller would be a good deal cause of Harris' youth.

Well if anything is going to go down with Jersey Shore then it needs to hurry up.
As we have all witnessed, Jerseys' GM doesnt like alot of noise....commotion and talk about trades. It can be said that it perhaps was the reason to as why the ceased in the pursuit of Melo.
Harris would be dope over here, Outlaw would be a great bench player to have again, but whatever it is it needs to go down, unless portland wants to continue standing on top of the box with a bullhorn yelling " Trade Please" for the rest of the season.
Its too much talk, not enough do.....

@TJ31...actually Trav makes 7mil/year thru 2015.  His contract is widely considered to be among the worst in the league

I believe Cho is intelligent enough not to get a bad contract in return.

Might be too late.  Denver and Nets agree on trade.  All in the hands of Melo now.

Posturing, gamesmanship, LEVERAGE.  I don't see an end to the MeloDrama until early Monday at best.  Anthony is reportedly having "clandestine" meetings with both the Nets and Knicks today and tomorrow in Los Angeles.  The one thing that is for certain?  The Melo deal when announced and official, will trigger a ton of activity

It's nice to see everyone not in favor of getting Travis back.  I caught on to his worthlessness long before he was traded and when I tried to express my feelings on the site back when he was a Blazer, everyone was like, "What are you talking about Travis is AMAZAZING!"  KP's greatest move ever, that trade was.  I couldn't stand seeing that atrocious fade-away jumper in the Rose Garden again.
