Lebron is a very talented athlete but he is choosing to show off his skills as a 1st class chump as well... What is the deal egging on the fans after he hits that 3 at the end of overtime... The guy is a good basketball player but not someone I would want my kid to look to as a role model or hero...  His chip on his shoulder was placed there not by his fans but by his choices...every step every elbow every taunt every stupid pose...just play the game...maybe if you did people could appreciate your game for what it is rather than making peoples stomachs turn because of the antics you pull...  It was quite amazing to see Miami come back last night but the whole time i was saying why does he have to push off why does he throw that elboy why does he have to egg on the crowd... No class in my opinion a spoiled athelte who has a ton to learn about life..... probably wont happen though...silver spoon is firmly implanted...

The "King" was dressed head to toe in Duck gear leaving the RG last night.  This immediately after taunting the Garden faithful in the closing moments of overtime.  Honestly, given his recent track record, checking for a frontal lobotomy scar doesn't seem out of the question at this point.

Bron was wearing Duck gear? NOOOOOOO. I don't want that guy cheering on my football team, he's the biggest front-runner there is as proven by leaving Cleveland for Miami, states his fv. childhood teams were Bulls, Yankees, and Cowboys..how convenient those were the dominant teams during his youth.

I think you know where that silver spoon should go, to bad he is the best talent in the NBA. Maybe if the refs call the game right and even he might not get as many bucket, or free throws. Made me sick seeing what he gets away with. Dante didn't get away with half the stuff LBJ did. I guess when you have talent and you a super star things just always go your way. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Such is life. I guess I wouldn't complain as much if he was a Blazer.

As you get older you realize all sports are ultimately about money....and yeah that includes ensuring the top players stay at the top... Wade pushed off on every inbound play Lebron on every drive...but it is how the league is... just irritating.... not how I saw the game when i was younger but I can see it has been this way for a very long time... the bigger the stars the bigger the money for the league and the owners....

As for LBJ wearing duck stuff.... He works for Nike I am sure that has more to do with his gear than anything.... again it is about money...

Too bad sport for sports sake is something that can only be dreamed about in the main stream....

The guy is the best player in the world and "fans" constantly treat him like garbage.  Yes, he has a HUGE ego, but he's no where near as bad as Kobe/Shaq is/was.  I have the man on twitter and facebook and I see some of the messages people post to him and it's just disgusting.  Portland fans aren't civil people either.  I have GO on facebook as well and whenever he posts something the only thing people say is "GTFO" (and that's being generous).  Sorry, but sometimes Portland fans need to be slapped across the face.  Be glad it was from someone that doesn't give a crap about Portland, unlike Kobe who can't win here.

all i have to say is you only know him from how the media portrays him.
and thats okay, but i just thin you should know, he really is a great person, but you have to see him as more than an icon first.
    for some people its hard.
What chip are you speaking of? this guy has earned everything he has worked so hard for.
he wanted to play for a different team, players are traded all the time, but because it was him, and how good he had become, people hated it.

    simple solution.
dont hate the player, hate the game......
    get that right below
    chosen one.

    Herr and TayC,
I said nothing of fans and I said nothing of knowing him...all i know is what i see... He has earned everything he has gotten? OK so the reputation is earned too, not just a media created hype... I think BROY has some of the arrogance that lebron displayed and sure Kobe and Shaw have show similar things but they werent just in town... you missed a few too... Kevin Garnett...Melo.... all above the law and yeah part of what the nba has created... but ultimately a person is responsible for their own actions...and arrogance and ego are a part of the game and a part of people and I respect and admire those that have the talent but remain humble...harder and harder to find...

    Are you serious right now?
And do you know LeBron personally to know as to whether or not he's a good person?
Based off what I have seen, I.E., throwing his arms up to the fans up to the Rose Garden, he's an A**HOLE!!

DID NICOLAS BATUM THROW HIS ARMS UP TOWARDS THE CROWD WHEN HE MONSTEROUS-LY BLOCKED LEBRONS LAY-UP ATTEMPT??? HELLL NO!  HE GOT BACK TO PLAYING THE GAME!

What i would like to know though, is where is LeBron waving it around in everyones face, bragging about how good he is? Where is that happening?
He isnt pulling out some groucho marks disguise after making a 3?
He doesnt tweet after making a 360 layup?
I mean what is the deal. LeBron doesnt write bogus stories and ship them to all the major sports media producers. The people, the fans, the haters all made this possible. It started when he was in high school, just BLOWING THE WORLDS MIND!!!!!!!! Like any normal kid, and even then haters tried to stop him, but LeBron couldnt be stopped. He was in CLE before you know it, and he STARTED TO KILL IT!!!!!! He got better with every game, and the world of the NBA loved him for what he was giving fans, franchises, cities! The people wanted more, they were so starved for Mr James that they said, "why cant this guy win a championship with this team, what is the deal?" So he does something almost unheard of in the NBA, he looks out for his own interest, he acted like a human, and to the NBA and its fans, it was disgusting. It was horrid. It was cruel and un just, and it was wanted. Everyone wanted this.  Over night it goes from, All on his nuts, to all hate his guts.
And Still as his life continues flying high, handing out posters....not looking or holding back, the NBA's best are there to greet him, with knifes and pitchforks, and still the hype goes on as they want more......always wanting more...

i mean what would the world be with out LBJ?
    chaotic?
    Gone?

Was it because he threw his arms up after he sunk a dope 3? or because he put his hands up and he is lebron james?
because im sure all the fans put their hands up in the air too.
But like woulnt you feel just totally unjustified if somehow someone somewhere took major offense to the 3 goggles?
Or what if someone somewhere totally overreacted to the short animations players make after performing at an amazing level, such as a fist bump, jump in the air or body slam?

Celebrating about an OUT OF THIS WORLD 3 POINTER he just sank is one thing, but taunting the fans is a whole other story.

I'd be happy as hell if I sank a 3 to seal the game too, but I wouldn't turn to the opposing fans and rub it in their face. It's a respect issue, an clearly LeBron lacks respect for the game.

That's like being ahead of the game by 20, 2 seconds left on the shot clock, stealing the ball and slamming it in the hole, rather than just holding until the game finished.

And this is just my opinion, so don't misconstrue it or take offense, but as a competitor, and as a basketball player, Lebron should have stayed in Cleveland and COMPETED for a championship, rather joining forces with the better of the league to create a super team.

That just takes everything away from basketball, whats the fun in winning all the time?
You have to lose some to make winning worth it. Just my thoughts on the game.

hahahhahaha, what are the 3 goggles then? i mean c mon. dude, seriously. And if someone did slam dunk it with 2 seconds left they probably had a good reason, so im not sold on that one either hahah.
stayed in Cleveland and COMPETED for a championship

Dude you are straight trippen. I dont know what you call seven years of setting records, but im sure LeBron was just playing around in cleveland, not trying to win an all, just waiting for what was to come right?
planned it all along? And is Bosh in the same story? How about Wade when they said he might of went to CHI? Or does only bron get that special treatment?
But you gotta make up your mind, because now you make it seem like LeBron and his buddies are winning all the time. They lost hardcore all up in the beginning of the season, now they have been hot, but they havent "Won all the time" at all.
You know, and later you might even say LeBron hasnt won at all. I think when people comment about lebron, they get nervous and start to mush things up....alot like being in love......but you dont know it....hah
