Nothing new.  Cho is not going to be pressured.  The team is two games over .500, which is where they should be @ .500.  So for now they are doing well, no panic the ship is not sinking.  I am sure that one of the 3 - Camby, Pryz, or Miller will be traded.  I just think that it is hard to trade the Iron Man Miller on a team that has injuries all the time.   Most likely Joel will be delt with a bench player and one or two of the 2nd round picks that KP has stockpiled for the team.  If we get a PG back or trade for one Armon will be included.  Don't forget the Blazers have Elliott Williams coming in next year at PG.  There really isn't any pressure to trade Andre right now, especially since we are on the plus side of .500.  He is consistant  at least 10 pts/g and 6-7 Asists/g.  Just look at his good stats for tonight and the low amout of minutes.  Also look at the combine totals of Mills and Miller = damn good.  To me I would continue to play the two at around 20 min each and evaluate........isn't that what Cho is doing?!

Lately I like the play of Augustine, but since Silas took over the Bobcats they like him too.

I know Blazer fans are going to hate me but I have a feeling Mills is going to be traded in the future.  Maybe not this year, or this off-season, but it seems like the Jerryd Bayless scenario all over again.  We all hear how "Armon Johnson is a Nate guy" and we of course need a point guard that can lead the team (Patty can't).  I really wouldn't be surprised to see Patty traded.  I think he's just being showcased now.

But, I think Joel and Miller will be traded.  Camby won't be traded and he will retire here.

sometimes the best moves are the ones you don't make and so far, this looks to be a good move.

I like Patty's ability to score just like Bayless who I also liked watching.  These players aren't afraid to go to the hoop.  Nate just does't like to play the first year player.  Armon has the D skills Nate likes, but let's face it for the fans it's the point.  Personally I like the faster pace with Mills and he works well with LA and Rudy too.  Both of whom will be here next year.  I think we will get Mills for at least one more year he is low cost, but like you said trade bait.

I don't think Milsl gets dealt anytime soon. I've always thought he fit into the category of "Means more to us, than you". It's the chemistry factor with Patty that is the intangible which makes his value strong to Portland. He's been a big reason why Rudy is content here in Portland and why the guys seem to have a tight bond.

i completely agree, Dustin. i don't see Patty being traded any time soon, for exactly the reasons you stated. it's the intangibles. Patty, Rudy and Dante are pretty close and they anchor that second unit well together.

it also should be noted that Elliot is a combo guard who fits better at the sg position than the pg spot. i don't see Patty as the similarity to Jerryd; rather i see Elliot as a similar player but with higher potential.

true, Nate doesn't like to play younger guys if he doesn't have to but, since inserting Patty into the rotation,  we've done very well and won. i'm pretty sure that winning is more important to Nate than the age of the players on the court.

If being Rudys friend won championships, Chacho would still be here.

Mills does bring a different look than Dre, I will give him that. But he is still not the pgotf, and is not the one to take over when Dre retires.
If the last 4 years are any indication , Mills is the next one on the trade block.
Beware Herr, Mills is the best thing since sliced bread to Blazer fans these days, not seeing him as the answer to win a championship will get you LOTS of haters around here :)

I'm still more concerned with getting another big than the pg issue at this point.

Nail on the head right here D Double. There is no substitute for cohesion. You give me ten pretty good players, playing together like the fingers on a hand, and i'll give you the Championship. Thats why Boston and San Antonio are true contenders each year, theres not a selfish son of a something on their whole squad. Each playing with one concept,do my job and dont hurt the TEAM. Thats why i always like our chances against anyone. Im hoping that our adversity has brought us together.

I agree in some part that Patty having the opportunity to play more will showcase his skill sets and at a bargain basement price of $900k his trade value/interest level from other teams will rise.  In this season alone he has gone from nearly being cut, to being on the floor in the 4th and helping with wins over the Rockets. His NBA progression is only going one way at the moment.

I do however disagree with your comment that Patty can't lead the team.  If there is one thing that is part of his makeup is his exposure to being the clutch player at the pg position at all levels of bball. Not many teenagers have the responsibility of being the point guard of your national team against world powerhouses like the States , Argentina and perform at a high level leading a team of older euro-league Australian players.  In terms of leadership, Patty would be far more advanced than most players his age, he has a high bball IQ and his unflappable coolness in high pressure situations is one aspect that Patty has exhibited in all levels of bball. Leading an NBA team in his 2nd or 3rd year I'd agree may not be in his grasp at the moment, but with every game of increasing minutes on the court, it will only be a matter of time when Nate's or if traded another teams coach's confidence in Patty provides for that opportunity. Patty certainly already has the head for leading a team on the court and Patty has had a lot to do with the teams energy levels on and off the court. He has that personality type that people respect and like being around; a fact that I bet has not gone unnoticed by his teammates...

Why not? Getting Oden back for 15 a game wouldn''t be that bad if he can do as he did in his 1st season. Close to 2 blocks a game and anything close to 5 boards. He would provide a good presence and he can read the game quite well.

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
