Cho hasn't done a thing for us to date.  We have some glaring needs, that everyone seems to acknowledge.  Yet management can't seem to get the job done.  We need to get PA, Cho or Roy to call someone out for this lack luster off season.  As bad as the Blazers have played lately the management team as played worse.  The glaring problems that I see in this team are this.

    1.  Roy/Miller can't play together effectively.  Both use size to post and hit mid range J's.  Neither can stretch the floor for the other.  Since Roy is said to the be franchise player I suggest we trade for a PG that can stretch the D and allow Roy to operate.

    2.  We should have offered Travis but more importantly Blake more cash to sign.  I know what people were saying about Blake, he wasn't worth it.  But we had the cash honestly I would have signed Blake to the middle level  exception because even though his worth isn't that much his worth to the team because he  doesn't fit perfectly he compliments Roy's game that he makes it worth it.  We could have swapped Miller for a back up center.

    3.  Honestly I would love it of PA would open his pocket book and offer CP3 max money next year even that might not sway him rather than Melo and Amare in NYC.

    4.  We need a serviceable PG that can shoot and spread the floor and pass to our shooters.

Also how many moves have been done throughout the NBA so far this year? A couple. And how many blockbuster deals? NONE. It takes time, it doesn't just happen overnight.

Give Cho some sneaks and put him in a jersey. Make him earn his keep. This team he put together obviously is incomplete, but definately needs some help. Hopefully he can snag someone good to play for the Blazers this season, otherwise, suit him up!

From everything I've read, Cho HAS been earning his keep.  He has spent the night in his office chair on many occasions.  I continue to be a strong supporter of Cho and believe he will better this situation.  As Tom said, it will take time.  There are a good many variables in play that we, as fans, are not aware of.  GM's are having to be very cautious with the CBA coming and a lockout all but a certainty.  As far as your comment "This team he put together"?  Cho had nothing to do with the building of what is now crumbling.  He has simply inherited it.  The obstacle of Brandon's contract was also part of the inheritance.

LOL Tobyus.  Cho could be the pgotf, with AJ getting no love from Nate.  Not seeing where this is a team HE put together though.  He stepped into this mess  :)

Kim, he stepped into a mess allright, then tracked it all over Blazer fan's imaginations.
Trading Bayless for mystery rookie next season, 2 days before opening night, the dude is power trippin'.
That shot across our bow made Tobyus upset. Mess with the best, you know the rest.

Not on everything. Other wise we wouldn't have traded Outlaw or Blake.

i wish we would have never traded blake. he was the perfect back up to andre. a veteran who can spread the floor, push tempo when needed but experienced enough to calm it down when needed. and those dagger 3s... man i miss him.

Steve Blake was my favorite Blazer for the last few seasons... no doubt. But at this point, think about it.
Would you rather have Camby or Blake? Look at where we finished last year and are now without Blake (not a terrible team, but not great). Think if we had NO Camby for last year or this year... bottom-feeder.  Blake could shoot threes, and I do miss that... but can he rebound and block shots with an inside presence

The only problem is Nate wasn't really using him as a backup to Andre. Also Blake was way overrated here. All he did that was good was hit threes. Besides that all he ever did was dribble around the three point line and pass around the three point line, occasionally he'd dribble under the basket only to keep on going back out to the three point line. He also had the uncanny ability to make the worst turnover at the worst possible time of a game. I was wishing we'd trade him the year before. He was ranked 33rd or 34th  at pg so really out of 30 teams, he was worse than the worst starting pg and even a few coming off the bench. I just couldn't believe we got Camby for him and Outlaw.. though I really liked Outlaw. He is a good guy. I guess Blake is too, just couldn't stand his game... or lack thereof.

Why is everyone so upset about Blake and Outlaw?  Come on people, you were all begging for Blake to be traded, or you never stood up to those that did.

Blake was a good point guard, and is a good player, but get real, he was never the point guard of the future, he was never the defensive point guard we needed (if he could at least stay with Brookes, we would have won in 2009), and he's not a starting point guard on a championship basketball team.

And believe me, none of you lovers of Blake would want to give up Marcus Camby.  The trade was a great trade, and really payed off.  If we didn't make the trade, we'd have no center now except Joel who still hasn't gotten his game back on track after being injured.

I don't want to sound really cruel, but after having a lot of people I cherished pass away in 2010 from cancer, I just hope PA isn't holding on and waiting.  I mean, who knows how much time is left for him?  I've lost people from shockers. Even Maurice Lucas was a shock.  PA should pull in his chips this off-season and gets us a championship caliber team.  Because right now, no one is going to compete with the Miami Heat in 1-2 years when they've got everything figured out, a better supporting cast, and the Celtics and Lakers are too old to continue what they're doing.  No one will contend with the Heat and it'll be boring.

Buy CP3, get Andre Iggy.  Have a CP3, LMA, Iggy, WM, Oden starting lineup with a Roy, Camby(or other decent center), Batum and whoever coming off the bench.  We can have a great team if PA tries to buy it out like the Lakers do.

I stepped in what ?  To each his own. You don't see the pattern of the last 4 years, not my issue.

All of you just remember, it was the Blazer office that asked me to moderate, and when I told them I didn't want to do it anymore, more than once,  I was asked to keep doing it.

I'm as tired of repeating myself, as you are of hearing it. This site used to be fun.

Nevermind, my bad Tobyus, my head is numb, I cant read.    ^^
I'm starting to think I am the reason the Blazer are struggling. Everyone is over thinking.
I'm really tired of being singled out for my opinion. Maybe this will actually get the attention of the people who manage this site, since no one answers emails.

I miss the fun times. This site, like this season is just not what I as a Blazer fan expected. I don't know how many times I need to ask to be able to edit comments. Being a moderator is a joke. I'm just a fan with opinion. Hopefully someday the people who manage this site, will take me off as a moderator.

Don't follow my frustration Blazer fans, things will get better. WE can't give up in our team.

Ha I actually agree with blazersforlife.
And Kim it is ridiculous that there isn't an edit button, but I guess we really need to mean what we write!! Also I'm sure when the team is winning it is better in here as well. This year is maybe worse than last year. This year we find out Greg needs another MF surgery and is missing ANOTHER year, while we learned that we may have lost Brandon Roy's prime years as an athlete before they even get here!!! That is some heavy heavy news. Not to mention Brandon being weird lately.

All of these "Trade ____insert management name" cries make me chuckle. Just like a coaching staff, give the man some time to work. He hasn't even experienced his first draft or trade deadline. He's made two major moves so far, trading Bayless, and not trading Rudy. Keeping Rudy has worked out so far, wouldn't everyone agree? And time will tell on the Bayless trade. That pick could be 15-17ish. All I ask is that we give Cho some time and see what moves he decides to make.

Has anybody looked at some of our rankings? Anyone???
     here's a couple

    - FG shooting % .439 NBA rank 26th
    - 3pt FG % .328 NBA rank 27th
    - FT attempts NBA rank 27th

All very important aspects of the game, none of which were here before Cho decided to play the bad guy and clear house.
