I cannot believe you just compared Rudy to Roy. Obviously you did not consider the many variables in regards to your statement. To see the biggest variable, go ahead and see Kassandra's statement. That alone tells it all. In math, you have to follow the order of operations to solve an equation. I think you skipped step 1. Thank you and try again.

wow... if rudy was better then roy, then when rudy was on the trading block (which he still could be) portland would have got alot better offers than a late first round pick. But then again maybe you know somehting that nba scouts dont. maybe you found a new career path?

rudy is not a go to player, he's a decent role player at best but he will NEVER be at the level of Brandon Roy. If you watched the world tournament you would know that the NBA is a lot harder. Thats why the U.S. was able to win the gold

i love rudy he is a great player sorry spain or europe is not the nba. the nba is tougher. i thnk rudy has gotten to be a better player in the nba and I love the growth i have seen in him this year so far. Anyhow the nba is a longer harder season then europe. my brother played a season in europe twenty five years ago and back then it was a place for nba summer league players who did not make roster went over in hopes of coming into the nba. dont get me wrong europe has come a long way since then but it is not there yet but I do see an nba europe some day soon. rudy is a fun and enegetic player to watch. no one passes like him I have not seen anyone pass like him since Magic johnson...blink and you miss it. how players dont end up with balls on the back of hteir heads is beyond me. but anyhow spain and europe is not the nba. roy is a totally different player then rudy period they play different games...both are great players.

rudy is great but he's not a perfect fit in blazers with nates system.. he only shoots 3's.. i think he should be doing more than just shooting 3s.. u cant really shine when all u do is shoot 3s.. he's a phx suns kinda player... i think thats where he belongs or new york with d'atoni

There is a reason Rudy left the Euro league to come to the NBA.

You forgot to add "2x falling off the radar during the post season" That's the Rudy we all came to know and love......But I'm sure all of those awards will look good hanging on the wall of his apartment is Big D.

Brandon's knees have carried the weight of his entire team, in the most competitive basketball league in the world for years, exceeding any and all expectations. Roy has sacrificed everything for his employer. Rudy never met expectations while a Blazer. No comparison.

I gree that there is no comparison between Rudy and Brandon...............but I must point out that the U.S does have quite a large pool of Basketball talent to choose from with such a high interest in the sport ...you have collegue ball feeding the NBA and every third person in the states has played ball at some stage,

THIS is the main reason the U.S.A wins gold medals . the pure size of the talent pool to choose from is massive compared to the majority of countries around the world...for e.g Australia has a few elite juniour leagues that draw their talent from a pool of about 10-15,000 kids in Victoria . considering we only have 22 million in our entire country, I think you better re avaluate just how good the USA is ? I guess what I am saying is, if we all had population of a similar size we would see a vast change in competition levels across the globe. oh and here is some trivia for you ...Australia has the most world champions per capita worldwide . not bad for such a small place eh.
