Haha! Good thing someone spoke about Nate. I was also thinking of suggesting in having him changed. Even though he has been coaching this team for long, his system hasn't been paying dividends in the playoffs and that he pressures his players a lot (I'm not sure of this, though). I don't know what's happening in there that's why in this aspect, I'm still on a wait-and-see mode. On the bright side though, look at Doc Rivers and Larry Brown. They have been coaching on worst teams, but they eventually brought home the bacon (more precisely, the championship).

As for LA, he'll eventually be better than he is. He just has to exert more effort and have more confidence in himself. I still consider him as an intangible.

LA still hasn't played like everybody's expect, everyone expects that he will play like a team leader until he is 30 years old? It's time to change our coach to bring us to another level...

LA seems to lack consistency. One night he may block a couple shots and be a hound on the boards and the next night he has 3 rebounds. At Six Eleven that's completely unacceptable. Despite those flaws he's still a very talented player on the upswing of his career. It would be foolish to trade him now.

Why does anyone even mention our coach? Because he hasn't delivered a championship? So people think he's been hand picked as one of team USA's assistants year after year because he DOESN'T know what he's doing? What you have to understand about sports is that there's always going to be luck that's involved. The most talented team on paper isn't the one that's always lifting up that trophy. And if you wish to apply the logic of coaching expertise with championships just look over at the Jazz and coach Jerry Sloan, ZERO championships.

You're pretty much wanting to make a change at the point with nothing adding really to our bench. Would adding an elite PG add to our championship chances? That ones obvious. There's a lot of talent at every position (yes that includes point). However is Miller the right fit for the team? Something is definitely wrong with our team chemistry it's inconsistent that's for sure.

For the coach, I have said earlier that I am on a wait-and-see mode. Point taken about Jerry Sloan, though.

There really seems to be a problem about the team chemistry since BRoy wants to have the ball more, Andre is a distributor, and we are thin in the middle.

Well, I only presented two at the point, all the rest are either at the 3, 4, or 5. Those players I listed are presented in a way that either any of them may be taken by the team through a trade.
Personally, I prefer that this team transact with the Grizzlies (Conley) and/or Rockets (Hill) and/or Cavaliers (Varejao). If we get all those three players in parentheses without having to give up much, the better (I think).

also we have no need for outlaw or buddinger since we already easily have enough small forwards/shooting gaurds.  I agree with you that we should get Harris and also Thabeet could be a very good aquisition since he provides the shot blocking and rebounding that we desperatly need with our bigs out.  Varejao could be a good aquisition too as long as we only have to give up Pryzbilla and Rudy/Babbit/Mills.

I don't think that he doesn't want to be here. I think he was just frustrated at himself with the way he was performing during the playoffs and the off-season. the way he is playing right now, he is going to be needed in a way or another.

Point taken about the 3s. But I think Babbit should not be traded because (1) he could be a valuable asset at the 3 and (2) he is a bestfriend of Armon Johnson.
Speaking of bestfriends, it's the reason why I keep  on insisting on getting Mike Conley. I think that if he gets to play here, it would make Greg Oden play better. They know each other's game, just like Armon and Luke do. Having friends play on the same team, I think, is one way to keep them happy and would make them want to stay.

People I would only trade in AMAZING deals: Batum, Aldridge

People I would trade today:  everybody else

I am writing this post because I am disappointed at the direction of this club and that the team organization has been doing very little about it up to now. Even last year, though they pulled up the Camby trade but things still seem lacking. I hope someone from the team's top brass can read any of our messages and feel our disappointment. Hey, Oregonians have to get their money's worth. Us loyal overseas fans have to feel that this team is able to reach out the foreign market, not just another team that's in purple and gold or green and white.

I still don't think though that BRoy's career is over. He is still the team's undisputed leader. However, since he is the leader, he should not be asking the ball more often. Leaders function in some other ways, case in point: our very own Andre Miller and Lakers' Derek Fisher.

As for "everybody else", I believe Babbit should not be included on those players. He and Armon are a packae deal (in my opinion), just like how I perceive Oden and Mike Conley to be. So I will insist, really, that this team pull up a trade to get Conley...

So why not change everybodys expectations instead of trading a key component of this roster away?

Aldridge, has been the No2 guy his entire time here, a guy who plays like an all star, continues to play like an all star and a huge asset for brandon roy and the rest of the Blazer team. He is 6'11, he can rebound, we know it, we have seen him grab 15+ easily, like that. He can score, he takes some random shots that he knows he shouldnt be taking and sometimes he misses, but missing shots is really not a huge problem when fishing for flaws in a player. Like only 45% of all shots go in, in the NBA, im pretty sure thats a fact. But the guy is huge, not only in stature, but in potential and we have all heard how much potential this team has, but alot of us have yet to see it. 
Here is the thing, Aldridge is going to find out alot about himself and his game this season, whether or not he wants to stay here in Portland, and whether or not he is ready to be an All Star or not.
But before the season started, all there was were complaints about how The L Train wasnt forceful down in the paint, he was settling for too far out jumpers, like 18ft,20ft shots he knows he can make, but wasnt. Now after out Whopping 10 games? Everyone is back with their complaints except this time its about how Aldridge is too aggressive, taking too man shots almost, but it is what the fans asked for, is it not.

I agree about conley.  Also I just think that he would fit in very well with the blazers starting unit since he is good at shooting threes so he can actually take advantage of double teams on Roy, Aldridge and Oden by spotting up for an open three.  Miller cannot do that.  Also since he plays reasonably well off the ball he can play some shooting gaurd, which could be usefull when Rudy ends up either getting traded or going back to Spain sometime in the next two years.

also like you mentioned his chemistry and friendship with Oden could help Oden improve his game and play better.  But I do think if we get Conley in a trade we should trade Miller since we cannot have a roster with Armon, Miller and Conley fighting for playing time at pg.

+luke ridnour or sebastion telfair from minnesota
+eric bledsoe - deandre jordan from the clipps
+steve nash or goran dragic - robin lopez (nash could be possible due to dragics play)

i mean roy, aldridge, batum, matthews, and fernandez are the only key players and armon is playing really well so id like to see him stay, but camby and miller are expendable, they are good but getting up there in age, and although miller has finally started to get his assists back up he is still not able to keep up with young points which the majority of the playoff teams have (rondo, nelson, rose, jennings, westbrook, paul, and even nash killed us too).

Nash will finish his career in PHX, Telfair was a bust when we drafted him why take him back, Hinrich is a decent pg but past his prime, Lopez is not going to be traded anytime soon and Eric bledsoe is going to be the Clipper starter when they can dump Davis

hinrich is only 29 and look at his numbers, they havent faltered at all and he would be a better passing point guard teacher for armon than miller who prefers to score and whether telfair was a bust or not he is playing well now, and baron davis isnt going to be replaced

The problem with Hinrich is not that he is currently too old.  It's that he will be in a few years and right now if the Blazers do get a pg, it should be one who can play starting pg for us for almost a decade.  We need to look for a pg of the future instead of continuing to get old pg's, or almost old pg's who only play here for 3 or 4 years.

Kirk is a perfect age, again with the "pickyness". Kirk is a great COMBO guard, you know combo guards ones who play the 1 and 2, you know like the one we gave AWAY FOR ANOTHER DRAFT PICK WHICH WILL BE USED TO SELECT THE WRONG PLAYER!

And Hinrich is totally unhappy in Wash. I saw that first game, i watched his facial expressions, just horrible. He looked like he would want to get out, and if he wants to come here thats a deal you gotta jump on.
Hinrich is DAMN good player, his IQ, well its so high it can be compared to TomL's. No really though, he knows how to run his offense, hes a decent defender, and a big thing that this team lacks is experience, regular seas and playoffs. Kirk was great against boston in that 09 series.( greatest series ever) my of missed some shots but who doesnt?
He can drive, check, he can shoot mid and long range jumpers, double check. i mean what else do you want? A john wall 1st week in the NBA, get my own commercials player?


And no tom, your doing a great job of lookin like an @$$, all by yourself.

No way the Pacers give up Hibbert.  He is their second best player, is young, and if they traded him to us they would have the weakest front court in the nba by far.  Also I doubt they would give up Collison since they consider him, Granger and Hibbert the core of the team.  I would love it if we could pull off that trade but their is 0% chance the Pacers would agree to it.

We probably could have gotten him for just Rudy.  I'm pissed that we didnt pursue that deal more.  Also we wouldnt be screwed with Oden out had we been able to complete that deal.

All of these guys suck besides maybe Da'Sean Butler and I dont think he is what we need.
