Hey guys, what do we need to do differently? More intensity? Hit our shots? Line-up changes? Your thoughts....

We need to take it to them, spread the floor and play with more intensity.

Yao is trying to avoid getting into foul trouble so we need to drive the lanes and feed our guys in the low post. If we can get L.A. involved early, it should open up our outside shooting. We are the younger team so we need to run the floor every possession to wear the rockets out.

I'm sure the game tape will be reviewed and Nate will find a better defensive strategy to contain Artest and shut down Brooks.

Ultimately it comes down to who really wants it more. One game at a time, one possession at a time, everyone on the Blazers has to step up and take charge.

Hard to believe we're playing a team that lost twice to Memphis this last season. Maybe they know something we don't, and it would be useful to exploit that!

We need to start out by establishing the low post (Aldridge). If they bring multiple guys at him we need to have good spacing and swing the ball and make them pay for it. If they recover to the shooters then we re-enter it to Adridge with their defense out of sync. We also need to get Oden the ball. He is just to strong for anyone but Yao on that team and will force the double team. When they double we need to look for cutters or the open man (were gonna have to knock down shots to win this series).

Attack the rim. We stopped attacking in game 1 after we weren't getting any calls (even though the rockets were hacking away) and only took jumpshots for most of the game. We can't let the refs take us out of our game.

Stop the pick and roll. This is tough with Aaron Brooks in because he can hit the shot if we go under the pick or use his speed to get to the rim if we go over the pick. We have to help off to slow him down and recover.

SHOOT THE BALL! It seemed as if everyone was afraid to shoot and passed up several open shots. We need to knock dowm shots to spread the floor so we can get to the rim without getting triple teamed.

PLAY BAYLESS! I don't think we absolutely NEED to do this to win but it would sure make it easier on everyone else. He can slow down Brooks and fight through picks, and can also body up Lowry. He attacks the rim and is a great finisher. (If you haven't already noticed, I'm a huge fan of Bayless)

In my opinion our most effective lineup would be:
    Bayless
    Roy
    Outlaw
    Aldridge
    Oden

This is a great rebounding lineup that can spread the floor. If the rockets double LMA or Oden then they have to worry about Outlaw, Roy, and Bayless cutting to the hoop or spotting up for the jumnper (not necessarily a three, though it would help a little more). Everyone in this lineup can knock down shots and hit the offensive board.

For the love of God, PLEASE front Yao Ming.
He can't be a force when he doesn't have the ball.

Blake can not guard Brooks, no matter how hard he tries. Brooks is too young and too quick. Put Batum on on Brooks and let Blake guard Battier, who doesn't have a post up game to take advantage of the mismtach.

MOVE THE BALL! No more iso's. Ball movement, Player movement.

RUN RUN RUN! Play defense, get the rebound, and PUSH IT! Yao is slow and we need to take advantage of it and gain a ton of fast break points.

Play like the word will end tomorrow. Leave nothing on the floor. Every loose ball.....grab it.

Finally, give the fans something to cheer for! The RG was rocking on Saturday and was ready to explode, but our boys didn't give us anything to cheer about. Make it happen and we'll do our part in the stands.

    Whomever said more Bayless..AGREE 100%!
That is my guy right there. I love his heart, energy, and hustle. I know we all love the Spanish Armada, but Sergio's D just isn't enough to contain Brooks or Lowry.

Also, hope to see Twin Towers in there tonight. Let's play some D and get out on the break!

We need steve blake out as starting point guard he can't defend aaron brooks. Put bayless as starting point guard and for oden not to get in foul trouble as usual.

Yeah, he was tripping with that Scottie Pippen reference. Nowhere as good as him, BUUUTTT, I think he can be, if he plays like a man. In Euroleague, you are taught more about finesse, and the fundamentals. He needs to put a little more muscle on, ...

Thanks Siccolo, not to knock on Bosh. I think if he was the number one option he would go back to being a beast. I miss making jokes about him playing for the RAPTORS. He is a great player.
