Watchin Armon live was a exciting.  He looks like a younger/stronger version of Greg Anthony.  If he continues to play like he did tonight, I can see him play more minutes during key times in close games.  What a great draft pick...  Also, I love the Blazers walking through the concourse amongst the fans before the game... I loved bumping fists Andre Miller...

Nice, maybe he can get under Kobe's skin like Anthony did with Jordan!

Its a long season, he's going to have his bad games like every other rookie before him and let's not forget about the rookie wall. But, I like the head on this kid he didn't go all crazy, and just took advantage what the defense gave him, Nash hosed him a few times and got some cheap fouls on him but Nash gives everyone cheap fouls.

I still like Nash as a person and player he accidentally caught Dre with an elbow in the face and even tho play was live after he scored he immediately made sure to make sure Dre was alright and apologized.  Class player and just a savvy vet wish we could have him teaching ArmonHammer

He looked even better than he did in summer league. This definitely takes away some of the sting of the Bayless trade. I was really impressed with the confidence he showed in his first game.

I also have to agree that I was happy to see Nash come check on Dre.

That was real cool. I like Nash actually because he is really funny. He's got a sharp wit and seems creative off the court as well.

What a draft pick huh? This kid is electric. We can only hope he continues to play like this throughout the season. I have not reason to doubt that he will. He came into the game last night and provided instant energy when we needed it most. That's what you want from a point guard. And he's a rookie! Very exciting stuff from the Armonizer.

This guy proved his worth! I was like WTF when they traded bayless. But he's got a better body to guard, he can may even guard the 2 spot when he gets more experienced in the NBA. But this guy proved his worth of why he's the back up point guard right there.

The lakers went and got barnes to make their 2nd union a defensive unit. Well portland went and got armon and wesley matthews to bring defense and scoring off the bench. I'm in love with our second unit's D. Last year we had no defense in that second unit which was one of our weakness against the suns. Now we pretty much outplayed them and theres no doubt in my mind that they don't wanna see us in the postseason. Especially with turkogolu still playing at the 4 spot, they're going to have to change that if they want success.

If Batum have the breakout year i know he's capable of, aldridge have that 20 10 season i know he's capable of, and if our big stay healthy and come back ready to contribute. I do believe we can go to the west confrence finals and give lakers a run for their money.

People been saying for years how well we match up to the lakers. It's true, we match up to them VERY well...all we need is the leadership from Roy and that extra effort from all our players and anything's possible. If phoenix forced them to 6 games why can't we force them to 6 or 7 and win? If OKC forced them to 6 games why can't we force the lakers to 6 or 7 and win?

They're not unbeatable, and i honestly think there are two teams in the west that can knock em off. Portland and OKC....

I guess Batum would be a good fit since Ilysavoa plays 4 more than the 3, which I didnt know lol

I think this would be a really good deal for Bucks then. They can draft Dieng with the 10 and maybe Franklin with their pick.

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
