    If Portland landed CP3 and only had to give up Miller (esentially) ..

    Cho would have to become instantly .. GM of the year ..

    You never know, Cho is sneaky and samrt enough to be able to pull of a trade involing just miller and fernandez and maybe bayless
    I am a fan of OF GM'S THAT CAN ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING IN THE FREE AGENCY!!! THANK YOU LARRY MILLER!!!

    Here's  DIME's take on it-
     The Blazers tried to include New Orleans in a mega-deal that would have sent Chris Paul to Portland, Devin Harris, Kris Humphries and a host of Blazers to the Hornets, [Derrick] Favors to Denver and Anthony and Andre Miller to the Nets, league sources said.

    I just have to wonder what a "host of Blazers" includes :D

    Regardless, for those who don't think Cho is working his butt off, this is just further evidence that just because trade rumors don't surface to the media, that he's still working those phones.

    I think Cho might be trying to unload the logjam Pritchard has left him. I like the fact that Cho is showing no loyalty to anyone from the previous regime, it's making right now a traditional period, but its still the same offseason Cho was hired in so that's ok...it's just felt like a long summer.

    This Blazer fan is not trying to hear anymore about CP3, until I know the back up center is secure, and there is another center lined up in waiting when Camby and Pryz retire, other than Pendergraph.
     If anyone belives Oden will carry that load alone in the future, I would like to sell you the broadway bridge.  College is expensive :) 

    If Cho is doing his job, that should be priority #1 right now. AJ has the pg when Dre retires, and Nate isn't running a back court with Roy and Matthews.  Give my rookie crush time to learn. 

    Again, ^^^  if KP doesn't get all the credit for success, he can't take all the blame for the pg log jam. 
    Imo,  the owners fetish has something to do with it.

    Maybe that's why we haven't seen any trades yet. The team could be holding out until the last second of the trade deadline to go after CP3.

    I truly hope the quest for another pg is not the case again, stop the musical chairs.
    CP3 does nothing to help the hole in the middle in the future.
     I also don't believe NO will let CP3 go this season.  Would you ??
    Can't wait for the season to start so we can talk about something else.

    With Roy and CP3 (or any other star) in the backcourt, we will become a mecha for aging center's looking to find a ring through free agency.

    Who wants aging centers ??  Isn't that how we got between a rock and a hard place to start with  ??
    I'm starting believe Odens birth certificate is forged :)
     Just a thought, but how about another one in the age range of the team ?

    Joel is only 31.  I doubt he will retire untill he is 33 or 34 so we don't really have to worry about that.  I'm sure we can find a reasonably good backup c either in the draft or in free agency some time in the next 3 years so i don't think our backup c of the future is really that big of an issue, and I don't think we should make a move for another c unless the deal includes Przybilla.  Also Armon has'nt really proven that he can be Millers replacement once he retires so I do think we need to trade Miller for a younger pg such as Devin Harris or else we will be screwed in a few years when we have to start Armon or Bayless
    I am a fan of the Blazers draft selections. Feels good to finally be able to say that

    Well what if instead of having Armon and Bayless, just sitting around, you work them out and turn them into PG's who can play, lead, shoot, score.....
    Why not do that? Or do only starters get attention on this team? Because bayless has been sitting on the bench for a while now, and players DONT get better riding the bench.

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
