    So I heard rumor that Steven Hill was re-signed by the Blazers today. Is that true? If so, why isn't there any talk of the Mascot being back? (Incase you are unfamiliar, Steven Hill had a Mountain Man style beard when he was on the training camp roster last year. Many people said that even if he didn't make the roster, the Blazers should dress him in a Mt. Man costume as a mascot, a "trail blazer.") This guy was gritty and a fan fave during that summer so I would be kind of happy having him on the team given all our injuries in the paint.

    Steven Hill works hard.  His skill level needs a little work  but over all we can get him for pennies.

    I'll take the mountain man.  What's the word on big Joel today after full contact practice ??
    As for the title of mascot ^^...... I was expecting news related to Mills :)

    Steven is a big guy who can give our regular bigs some relief, namely in the preseason.

    portland has a mascot, Blaze the Trail Cat.

    But there's no such thing as a Trail Cat. Besides, it would be classic. Hill and Blaze could do a whole Cluseau Vs. Pink Panther/Wylie Cyote Vs. Road Runner routine! It would be great entertainment! :-)

    I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
