Haven't been to a game in SLC, so couldn't say... Sacramento was loud in its heyday (cowbells notwithstanding), but it fell out of the running YEARS ago.

Very cool. Portland and G.S. are the only ones I've ever been to, but it gets pretty loud at both of them. Playoff games, Laker games, and the 4th quarter of any close games are unreal in Portland. I love it! We have a great crowd for sure!

Great post!  Here's my thing.  If Dudley's opinions are popular ones throughout the league among all NBA players...then we as fans, are obviously doing OUR part in creating a "home court advantage".  I would like to see our TEAM now, pick it up.  Too many times last season I saw let downs in the RG, and most often times they came against a far lesser opponent.  As loud as the Garden is, we don't have the W/L % to show for it.  Further, as much as THAT bothers me, nothing bothers me more than our guys letting visiting players come in OUR HOUSE and manhandle us.  EVERY meeting we had with Utah last season here at home was PATHETIC.
As I've posted elsewhere on this site, here inlies the real value in Joel.  He brings that swagger, that toughness that the rest of the team feeds off of.  Without him though...choir boys.  That said, I was VERY happy with the team reaction to the Odom foul on Rudy.  Proud in fact.  Once again, BRoy was a leader, the value of which cannot be overstated.  Roy and others, reacted in a way that not only didn't cost the team, in the way of suspensions and fines, but also in a way that sent a clear message that that was unacceptable and wouldn't be tolerated.  Had the Blazers reacted a little more aggressively though, I would have supported that as well (it was THE LAKERS :) )  I want to see our beloved RG a place that is feared by opponents, not overlooked.  My bottom line is actually, my bottom line!  Look below!  Passion and Pride!!!  Bring it back fellas!

Thats whats up BDawg. We need that Beast or two on our squad, that deliever tastefully executed hard fouls to opponents. It sends a message. Do not leave the ground in our paint. Period.

I almost didn't hit the "submit" button on that one, for fear that I might be alone in that observation.  Thank you.  Seriously though.  In the playoffs, in particular...NO "and ones"...especially in the Rose Garden.  I think I about came out of my skin I don't know how many times in the Phoenix series.

The cheap seats are awesome! It's so loud up there, you can't hear yourself shouting. It's the best! I sit in the 200 level but am seriously considering moving up to the 300 level because I have a better experience up there and the fans are intense, which I love. I love sitting in the 200 level but sometimes I feel like I'm the only one shouting in my section and then everyone stares at me. Lol.

I agree with we definitely missed Joel. He doesn't take no crap from anybody. We have that type of player in Bayless, but need more than just 1 fiery guy on the team.

Pendergraph is that kind of player also I know he is still raw but like i have been saying, this kid can play.  He can develop into a great role player and hard banging PF.  I agree JBay is that kind of player but having a guy thats 6'3"ish standing up to a Shaq isn't going to bode well for our little friend.

Boston Garden's pretty loud, too.  Boston's a great fan base for all sports.  Wish I could've been there when they eliminated the Cavs.

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
