Who's checking the Blazers' website about 15 times a day? I used to only check it once or twice, but ever since the CP3 talk, I'm always glued!
I am a fan of having a completely healthy team for once.

I must be the only Blazer fan who was not  excited about all the CP3 talk everywhere. I actually avoided it.
Why would NO let him go first off ?
Second, as good as he is, he is not worth losing Nic or LA for 2 seasons of his guaranteed contract. If he acts like that to NO, what is to keep him from doing it here in Portland ?  Nothing....

    This rumor floats EVERY offseason.

Once again, the Blazers need to make a decision at pg, from the crop they have now, and stick with it.
No one wins a championship by changing their pg  every off season, like they have for the last 4+ years.

We have not even seen Williams play yet.

Sam Cassel, Derek Fisher wasn't deemed important until after he signed with the jazz, (Jim?) Paxson or however you spell one of the many point guards that filled in for a season or two next to jordan, The lakers when they had magic had a different point guard sometimes because Magic played all 5 positions, did Rondo start the season as starting PG in 08? Those guys all moved around a lot and were all on championship teams. Theres more I just can't think of them off the top of my head. And didn't Blake technically run the team for 2 or so years?

I believe Blake spent a year in Denver between his years in Portland.

Just the fact that you had to go back as far as Jordan or Magic ( which no team has anymore )  only makes my point more valid. I'm not talking about pgs who moved around before they were on championship teams.

I'm saying it's been YEARS since a team that changed it's pg EVERY off season won a championship.
Look at  the Champions for the last 5 years, then look to see how many years they had the same pg prior to winning. Or look to see how many pgs they changed prior to winning.

Hawes, how about some research ???

Time to make a decision and stick with it Blazer brain trust.

Then take it a step further. Did the Bulls or Lakers ask their superstar to change his body to fit the roster every off season? I don't think they did.  I think they made the pg fit around the allstar.

Time to make a decision, and stick with it.

I hope all the Mills fans are listening  to courtside. When asked about the competition at guard, Mills didnt even get a mention from Nate. Writing on the wall.  The answer is not Mills.

Sanders is a good fit, like to run, Pretty much the same offensive game as JJ, except JJ is a little better around the rim and has that close-mid range game. I think Henson is decent too. I didn''t get to see a lot of his game, as he didn''t play ...

You''re right. They should dump Monta though. I was thinking maybe the Rockets could use the number 1 pick to get the lakers to do a sign and trade for D12.
