    I'm glad Travis scores in the 4th Quarter. Sometimes it seems like him and Roy are the only ones that are being aggressive.

    Last game vs Dallas he was our only bench player to score. I think he will be a vital piece to the puzzle come playoff time. I'm glad KP didn't budge on trading him.

    I bet you are right! Must be all the T-Law fans in the stands- makes it feel like home for him! You just have to love those crazy shots he hits sometimes!

    i think rudy and oden are starting to fill the bench scoring void. we need to give them time and let these young bench players flourish. as they will.

    Hey T-law fans- It is time for Travis to have a play off break out game! I think his time to get hot in the 4th quarter is long over due and could happen in Houston tonight- what do you think? Go T-law and Go Blazers!

    Yea, we need Travis and Blake to step it up. Personally, I think HOU is just a poor match for Travis. He likes to play the 4, but they have big bodied rebounders in there so we have to go bigger so we don't get crushed on the boards. That is no excuse though, he does need to be more aggressive and take good shots. He did hit a big shot in the 4th and had a solid drive which ended in a Roy tip-in. Hopefully, he becomes Mr. 4th Quarter again.

    Travis had a better game last night- I'm hoping he can top that tomorrow in the Rose Garden- we need everyone to play well to keep the series alive!

    The Travis Jersey will be in full force tomorrow + the signed hat too...we need those 3's and defensive rebounds! If we can just play a full 48 mins of basketball, we got this..no more droughts though!

    I have noticed a lot of the "Travis Haters" have been missing him a lot since his absence..and all I can think of is.."You don't know what you've got till it's gone."

    No offense to Travis, who I'm sure is a wonderful person.  But we're not missing him.  He's a cog in our wheel (and an inconsistent squeaky cog at that.)  Frankly, his pt was keeping Rudy and Martel from getting the time they both deserve.  Already Martel is FAR more consistent from 3 than Travis, and if we can get Rudy some antibodies for whatever infection is into BRoy, then the whole team would come around.

    I hope Travis gets well soon.  And I hope if he gets pt again, he learns to take the open looks and stop driving into constant turnovers.

    Much love to him.  No one deserves an injury.

    I must dispute one point of your post:
    Martell has not been more consistent from 3 than Outlaw, in fact, Outlaw is also more efficient from downtown.
    I took the past 3 years, including this shortened season and came away with these stats ( I subbed 06-07 for 08-09 for Webster since he was basically out the entire year last year)

    Martell:
    06-07: .364
    07-08: .388
    09-10: .373
    Total:  239/634 for 37.7% over the past 3 seasons from 3.

    Travis:
    07-08: .396
    08-09: .377
    09-10: .387
    Total: 141/368 for 38.3% over the past 3 years from 3.

    Not only does he have a higher percentage from deep, but he does it in nearly less than half of the attempts

    My theory on why we aren't closing out games as successfully as in the past: No Mr. 4th Quarter. Love him or hate him..the dude is clutch and can turn something into nothing in a bat of an eye. Really can't wait to get him back on the court.
