    Portland is going for the sweep tonight. Utah is in the Big Easy taking on the Hornets and have their hands full right now, down 2 heading near halftime. The Thunder are up 5 currently against the Suns in OKC. And even our pals the Grizzlies could help us out tonight by upsetting the Spurs in San Antonio, but the Spurs hold a 5 point 1st quarter lead. It is going to be another barn-burner in the Wild Wild West.

    Go Suns, Hornets, Grizzlies, and most importantly GO TRAIL BLAZERS!

    Losing my mind here -  not one to bash the refs but ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? CALL IT BOTH WAYS YOU JERKS!!!!

    Going into the 4th up by 1.  It is going to be a bloody last quarter of the game.

    Wow wow wow, we really let the refs get to us tonight.  Let's hope Sunday is better.

    The refs were more scandalous tonight then Mike Bellotti.

    Worst refs ever turned the game against the Blazers. Why are the refs not fined for their errors?
    I am a fan of these Blazers and I believe we CAN win the playoff games!

    Guys are saying all the right things in postgame interviews.  Overall they are right, we need to play throught the bad calls, but MAN!!!  It's hard to keep that in your head when you see some pretty shady calls going on.  And Roy was right, better now than in the first game of a playoff series.

    This was my letter of complaint to the NBA:
    I was at the Blazers vs Mavericks game tonight, and I have never, ever seen worst officiating in my life. Portland's usually mellow crowd turned nasty like I have never seen because of the numerous blatantly bad calls against the Blazers that ultimately determined the game. The refs should be fined for their incorrect scores and suspended until they can correctly and fairly call a game. I left the game angry and fed up with the NBA.
    It would be nice to get something other than a form letter, but I know you don't care enough about the season ticket holders to respond to us any other way. Shame on you, shame on the refs.
    I am a fan of these Blazers and I believe we CAN win the playoff games!

    Thats the right way to do it, they get paid to play ball and you have to play your game: good calls, bad calls, no calls.  I will say that was some bad officiating, im sure that tape will be used as a training device on how NOT to call a game. Also the poor shooting that was going on didn't help our chances either.

    How does a Portland team rack up 4 technical fouls in one game? I don't think we had more than 5 total coming into tonight's game. Did we miss FT's, have turnovers in bad situation, and miss shots? Yes, but I will come to the defense of my team. It's hard enough playing against a 50+ win team let alone thinking you've got 3 others against you.

    There will be no post-game thoughts tonight..if I could say what I wanted to say, I'd probably get a technical

    Are you kidding me? The Mavericks had #41 (official Ken Mauer)on their side and he did more damage than Nowitzki. EVERY Blazer fan should write to David Stern asking for this official to be fined for unethical and bias behavior. You can send David Stern your thoughts at this emial address:

    As much as I agree with the bad call's tonight you must remember that both teams shot poorley and the most basic of NBA skills seem diminished all night long, until Dirk got a hot streak. The good to be taken from this game is first a good lesson learned about emotion and second we should be proud of the fact the blazers did play GREAT defence for the most part.

    I do hope that the REFS also learn something from this game as they should be force fed the game tape for a good solid day!

    I love the Grit and Grind, and I love the Spurs timeless play. I think if the Spurs get to the finals, they will beat the heat, but they won''t beat the Grizzlies easily, and the Grizz can''t beat the Heat. I know it''s weird.
