Had to go with 91-92, one of the top 3 teams in franchise history. It's really too bad we gave up Petro the year before and Sabas couldn't come over for another 5 years, otherwise it could have been a different outcome in the Finals. Really crumby luck to have one of our best stretches to only have it during the Jordan era. Truly believe we have a couple more banners hanging in the RG right now had we peaked in 94 and 95.

The best team I have ever seen , Drexler, Porter, Kersey, Williams, Ainge, Robinson ... I feel the same, it is really not fair that Jordan and Bulls was unbeaten at this time but to be honest I think Jordan get hole NBA to higher level and attract new fans and sponsors.
but not alone , Drexler, Porter and other Players cause that nba start to get fans whole over the word ,  Europe ,Poland and me at the end.
    NBA - I love this game !

92 wins without a contest. Drexler was in his prime, 1st team All-NBA, all-star game, 2nd in the MVP voting, and a member of the inagural Dream Team. Unfortunately, his knee flared up towards the end of the season which really killed our chances. Also, I think Portland suffered from not having everyone peak at the same time. Duck, Kersey, and TP all had their best years in in 91 with Duck and TP All-Stars but Kersey just failed to match up with Pip, Horace got the best of Buck, and TP wasn't at his best. We were a great team, but if only Drexler would have peaked the year before or the others waited and had their prime year in 92.

No question, 91-92 team. Gave that Bulls team everything they had and then some. I had just moved to Oregon from Hawaii at the end of the 1990-91 season and I won't lie, following the Bulls pretty hard I went so far as to *gasp* cheer for the Pistons the year before just to get under my Aunt's skin. It was my first experience of Blazermania and how much this team ment to the city and the state overall. Getting looks while I rocked my Jordan and Bulls gear, taunting our apartment neighbors while the games were on, good times. There were other really good teams, but it was the Jordan era not a whole lot could be done to stop him and his Bulls.

WTF do you call Tim Duncan. The dude is arguably the best PF in NBA history, I guess I did not realize that all this time he was making first team all NBA ballots that he was not a superstar.

The rules limit the effectiveness of defenders these days Blaser. Lebron would win defensive player of the year every year if he could hand check people and hold on to his man like the old days.

Wow some serious high hopes for JJ there.

@Cailin Isn''t a little ironic that the Heat are on pace to win a second straight NBA title despite being the worst rebounding team statistically in the NBA this season.

I would trade the pick, the team is in rebuild mode and I am not sure Burke is the guy I really want on my team. Since my team needs a PG a PF and maybe a SG depending on how they feel about Afflalo still.

Want to talk about trade LA possibilities then maybe it is time to reexamine the Cavs as an option for LA. Can get pick #1 and some pieces or work out a three way trade with the Bucks and Cavs. If we could end up with Thompson, Gee and Sanders for...

Considering that is the only aggressive thing he has ever done in his life, it is not likely he will do anything. Maybe if he did I might respect him more. But its alright enjoy your higher ticket prices to pay this joker 11 million a year.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.
