What Can Camby Do?

    Tonight's game against the Celtics at the Rose Gardern (7:30 PM tip on Comcast and ESPN) will be the Marcus Camby's Portland Trail Blazer debut (and Nate Robinson's Boston debut). What are you expecting to see out of Camby in his first game as a Trail Blazer?

    I'm thinking 25 mins of playing time. This will be a slower game than usual, so already it was going to be in the 80's or 90's... but with Camby, 8 points, 9 boards, 2 blocks. We keep them under 90 tonight...

    I think that his role tonight will be playing some minutes in a game and getting used to playing with the team. But for the future he needs to get the rebounds that are missing with Oden out.

    I see Camby going nuts tonight. Dropping 50 and getting 20 rebounds. Ha ha just kidding. Yea I see him just getting his feel of the system, and what role everyone plays. There will be some awkwardness at the start, but I could see him get a double double, 10 points 10 rebounds and then maybe 2 blocks. I really want to see him just destroy a nate robinson shot

    It will be exciting to see some "D" against the rim, and in the paint, ... with the added Defensive confidence down in the post for the Blazers. 

    Hoping Marcus stays relaxed, ... and the fans don't expect too much in his first game.
    I am a fan of Good to see the Blazers developing a "total" team game, under the watchful eyes of Kevin Pritchard and Nate McMillan.

    Batum is a great fit for their system and is young. Plus a lottery pick and potentially 2 other first rounders would give them a ton of flexibility. 


    If they say no we move on but at least offering the deal publicly will...
