1989-90:Overall record: 59-23 (tie, 2nd in league, 2nd in conference, 2nd in division)
Portland capped a stellar season by winning the Western Conference championship and taking on the defending champion Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals. The Trail Blazers compiled the league's second best record, 59-23, including a 24-17 road mark. CONTINUE READING/Become of fan of this team

1983-84: Overall record: 48-34 (6th in league, 2nd in conference, 2nd in division)
The Trail Blazers posted the second-best record in the west (48-34), a two-victory improvement over the previous season's mark and good enough to nail down the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Their impressive 33-8 homecourt record was the best in the NBA; they were 15-1 going into January and didn't lose their third game at home until February 12, being 24-3 at that juncture.CONTINUE READING/Become of fan of this team

1990 hands down! They were one of the best teams in franchise history and were oh so close to winning the title. Clyde, Terry, Buck, Duck, and Mercy would be way way too much for the 84 team to handle.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Thank God they are 19 games over 500.  Mayb...
