    Rumor has it the Suns are sending Amare to the Cavs in exchange for Ilgauskas and J.J. Hickson, and that the Suns are expected to waive Big Z shortly thereafter. What do you think, should the Blazers try and make something happen to pick him up off waivers? I know it's not quite as simple as all that, but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Z in a Blazers uni, he's been one of my favorite players for a long time.

    Z is on of the few bigs we could pickup for the short term that makes sense to me.  He is a legit center to fill our short term needs but doesn't present long term problems.  If we can clear up our log jams in the process that works well to.  The problem woudl be that means sending our pieces to The Suns.  I want to see departing Blazers do well, but not at our expense.

    I read somewhere that if he was bought out buy Phoenix, he would want to return to the Cavs....

    I think what Stotts is doing is superb. His plays are great. I remember the only play he ever called for Meyers Leonard, against the Bobcats. Great movement, got LMA a good mid range look, got Batum a decent three look and the got Meyers way down ...
