Why would you bench bayless?!?!?!?

    Bayless got his 4th foul with about 8 minutes left in the game and we benched him until there was 3.8 seconds left even tho we had nothing going. Nobody was hitting shots or even taking good shots and bayless just sat??? WHY?? im confused. new orleans put together a 10-1 run to finish the game and our best 4th quarter player next to roy just got to sit and watch the disaster. FML!

    Horrible decision by Nate to put Blake in, instead of Jerry or Rudy. Blake is only successful shooting the ball off of someone else's penetration. Also, why did we run the same Andre play 4 times in a row? He was having an off shooting night..try posting up our power forward...completely and utterly baffled.

    It wasn't a horrible decision. After listening to the audio on the games page, Nate wanted to exploit Andre on the smaller NO point guards and surround him with shooters if they double, hence why Blake was in there, because he is much more reliable than Bayless.
    My concern wasn't 100% on Bayless but rather settling for jump shots instead of attacking the rim. Sure, we got some good looks in the end, but if they aren't dropping, we need to quit settling for tough shots and go to the goal and get some foul shots.

    Agreed we needed to be going to the basket long before the last possession when Bayless went back in. And on the last possession why didn't Bayless go to the basket and try to get fouled- that is his bread and butter more than a jump shot.

    Well if bayless would have been in there would have been somebody attacking the basket all night! And andre may be more reliable than bayless all night long but when the fourth quarter hits only roy is better than bayless.

    Well, it looks like Bayless' minutes will be back to normal as Coach Nate said he and Juwan are moving back into the starting lineup.
    Also, I freaking love Bayless' attitude after missing the shot..he still has the confidence to take it again if need be.

    No excuse. They were in foul trouble and JBay is the man to exploit that to the max. Blake had the worst game of his life and Nate is doing what he does. At this point you cannot blame Nate maybe management because he is what he is and has shown no ability to adapt or change to improve his style. The only coach's that should not worry about changing are wearing rings because there system is proven.
    I am a fan of a run at those rings in 2011 when GO comes back to dominate!!!!!!!!!!!

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
