    1980-81: Overall record: 45-37 (tie, 8th in league, 4th in conference, 3rd in division) The Trail Blazers set a club record for December, going 13-2, part of a stretch when they won 14 of 15 games. And, they finished the season by winning 12 of their last 16 games and 16 of their last 22, including the capturing their final three on the road.     08-09, easily. This was our best squad in nearly a decade. We were big, fast, strong, athletic, and had a closer. Even if the game went down to the wire, who one the 81 team is going to take and make the last shot? I know that in 09 it would be Roy or Outlaw, as both are proven clutch performers. Also, our big men in the middle could cause 81 havoc.

    It has to be 08-09. They tallied the 5th highest wins in franchise history, were  19-6 over their last 25 games, and had the size and length to do whatever they wanted. Also, I believe they would just be too deep for the 81 team to handle.

    Im not impressed with Gortat. Everyone wants him but he seems mediorcre to me. He is the most realistic option since all it would take is the 10th pick, but I think he is old and declining.
