1983-84: Overall record: 48-34 (6th in league, 2nd in conference, 2nd in division) The Trail Blazers posted the second-best record in the west (48-34), a two-victory improvement over the previous season's mark and good enough to nail down the third seed in the Western Conference playoffs. Their impressive 33-8 homecourt record was the best in the NBA; they were 15-1 going into January and didn't lose their third game at home until February 12, being 24-3 at that juncture. They boasted the NBA's best road record at 18-12. Coach Mike Dunleavy's charges were serving notice they were ready to follow their 2000 playoff successes with another run at the Western Conference title. CONTINUE READING/Become of fan of this team

I went with the 84 team basically because the 01 team was so self-destructing. The 01 team had more talent, but they would get so caught up with the officials, substitutions, really anything other than basketball. Both teams definitely underachieved, as the 84 squad was upset in the 1st round and the 01 team went from 1st to 7th in the West.

01 just by the slightest of margins. I know the 01 team was a Jekyll & Hyde squad, but I'm banking on them playing well in this matchup and coming out victorious. They were just so deep and I don't see anyone on 84 being able to slow down Rasheed.

Shabazz or Saric. We need bench scoring.

But I rather move up and get Oladipo.

well mccollum looks cool but lillard was a rarity when it comes to small school ballers being successful I don''t see 2 small school ballers 2 drafts in a row especially one comeing from a weak draft being anything spectacular

The house of cards begins.  We will not know which centers become available until we know where some of the other centers land.  Binum, Splitter, Al Jefferson, Dwight Howard.  The only way that Asik becomes available is if Houston land...
