I hate to do this, but I gotta put it out there! What happened to you tonight??? It was tooooo quiet! It's like we started the game and already expected them to lose. We come in on Friday so pumped up that it just poured over into our guys. Tonight - ugh!!! It only got loud for a few minutes when they caught up. Then the place emptied out at the end. I hate it when people just up and leave, especially when they are losing. Just like the saying goes, through good and bad, in sickness and in health... we have to stand behind out guys at every game, right from the start, and all the way till the end! We were louder against the Warriors than the freakin Cavs! I know we have it in us. They are down 40% of their team. We have got to be there to make it up and keep them going! GO BLAZERS!!!!

    ps. Please no hate mail.....

The crowd definitely wasn't as juiced as it was against LA, but that should be expected because LA is our main rivals. It should have been louder though, I do agree. Personally, I got excited when Marty hit back to back threes to pull within 4 then Roy tied it with another, but I never really got the feeling we were going to win tonight, maybe others felt the same.
I must say though, when it got loud...it was LOUD..Cleveland just silenced us too many times, we missed too many free throws, and had costly turnovers.
Finally, it probably won't get too loud when you are consistently down double digits in the 1st half and it is tough to get loud when there were so many whistles being blown constantly it seemed like, esp when Shaq was in the game.
I expect it to be rocking Wednesday night though!

I agree the fans seemed nervous all night. It was very loud during that stretch in the 3rd but otherwise very tenative. I think the Blazers felt the same way and there just wasn't enough to carry them over.

I think fans are so in-sync with the team, when you get 20 first quarter points from one player and shoot like, 75% from the field your kind of in shock and awe which im sure the Blazers were, hence so were the fans. The Cavs and the Akron Hammer just doesn't get Blazers fans riled up for whatever reason even though they like whooping on us. I give credit to the Cavs, the lost in Denver must of stung pretty bad and they didn't want a depleted Blazer team to take advantage of that. Like the Clipper game, we had our chances to take that game over missed FTs (LA those two you missed hurt buddy) and those horrible turnovers sealed the deal.

BR7 hit the nail on the head. I was nervous the entire night as well. I mean, it as literally a tall task to beat the huge Cavs. I was pulling for them with all the energy I could muster, but when you have to play a flawless game to win, its tough when something goes wrong it really, really deflates the crowd.
I think if we were to be a full strength the crowd would have had a mire secure sense of victory and wouldn't have been as down when mistakes occurred.

Well Michael Redd is now out with a torn acl and mcl, so he is done for the year. This game is definitely winnable, especially since Jennings is hitting the rookie wall. As long as we win the rebounding battle we should beat the Bucks and give the fans something to go nuts about!

I get that it was a long shot to win the game, but we have to come in with some faith and energy!  I truly believe that half the game is emotion and we control a lot of that!  I was just very disappointed in the fans... we can do better!

Put the cell phones down, and cheer for your team. Golf clapping isn't loud enough. Scream like you got a pair. GO BLAZERS!

Agreed..don't come to the games if you aren't going to cheer. Sometimes there are people in my section who just sit there the entire game..no Blazers gear..nothing..come on...give your ticket to a Blazers fan if you don't really want to be there! We need to make this the loudest area by far in the NBA!

My biggest pet peeves about Blazer games are that a  portion of the fans won't get hyped for a big play but they will go nuts for a stinking free t-shirt that probably says "That's Comcastic" on it or something....baffles the mind.
Also a plea...can we give the wave the ax? Its pretty cool when you do it once a year, but lately it seems like its an every other game ordeal. Personally, it really takes away from the game and hard to see when ppl keep jumping up in front of me.

Agreed, waves are cool at football games not so cool at basketball games unless maybe when the Globetrotters are in town.

I agree the wave is too distracting unless we are ahead by 30 and the game is almost over and even then it is probally better without it.

I do not have a problem with giving Oden $5m per year. As long as it is structure as a $500K base and $548781 for every ten games played.  Work...

    I''d trade for Asik.

Sanders better shotblocker, better dunker and around the rim, Asik better defensively. I think Asik will have the better career.
