To a long road trip with more injuries. Now we all see what this team is made of and let me tell you I am impressed. Bayless...you have now made your mark and welcome to the big time! Oh, and Juwan...AWESOME! 3 of 4 on a trip where everyone thought we would be 0-4. And don't forget we almost pulled off the Orlando game as well. I sure home when the boyz take the floor on Christmas day that the Rose Garden gives them a 3 minute standing ovation for they deserve it. All for one and one for all baby!

Totally agree. It isn't like other teams where one guy just has to haul the team over the mountain. You could argue that Roy was doing that for us, but tonight, with Roy out... Jerryd, Juwan, Martell, Blake, Miller and of course LaMarcus stepped it up both on offense and on defense. I am amazed we were able to go into San Antonio on the second night of a back to back and win. Let alone have it minues 6 of our 8 top scorers (from a year ago). That is a pure team effort.

Ok, I agree Bayless has had 2 great nights in the last 5 games. The question, though, is how long can this team collectively pull this off before they start running out of gas? Also, who can we get for the injured player exemption, if we apply for another one, that can take the place of Joel and Greg while they're out? (It's not like Juwon has an S on his chest.)

If NM is willing to convert his style of playing to a fast-break and half-court trap defense oriented team, in the meantime, then we might have a shot at maintaining this winning streak on Friday and maintaining long term...

And certainly a little more consistency from Blake couldn't hurt things either, at least until Rudy gets back... But that's my take on things.

Personally, I'd like to see this team win a championship without all of its guys, then comeback and win another one after that just to slam their critics, but maybe I'm just wishing for too much.

    =)~
I am a fan of Greg Oden getting healthy and shutting up his critics. Period.

A title without all these guys? Not even St. Nick could deliver that. Just enjoy the ride the team is putting us on. Frankly, I'd be thrilled if we just make the playoffs with all of these key contributors out for the season. There is nothing like playoff hoops!

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Howard would be fine if he was the same player he was in Orlando, but his back has really slowed him down and he is no longer the most dominant center in the league. His offense was always trying to dunk on people and getting fouled he has not imp...

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
