Jerryd Reminds me of Vinnie Johnson. The "Microwave"

I think he has more play-making skills than the Microwave, but if he can score like Vinnie than I won't complain.
I voted Monta Ellis, because he can play both the 1 or the 2, has the mid-range jump shot, but also is fearless in attacking the rim. I do think Jerryd is much more unselfish than Ellis and puts forth much of a defensive effort than him as well.

Eric Gordon is more of an outside shooter than JB. Ben Gordon would be closer. Aggressive at the rim.

Maybe the Clips aren't using him right, but at Indiana, Eric Gordon was a beast at attacking the hoop. He's fell in love with his jumper, but he has the ability to be relentless.
I'm not sold on the Stoudamire comparison's though. Since when did Damon ever finish successfully at the rim? Love the guy, but it was frustrating watching missed lay-up after missed lay-up.

Currently, Monta Ellis, but a name I am surprised I have not heard from anyone is Kevin Johnson from the Phoenix Suns. Both could hit the jump shot, but were fearless in attacking the hoop. All I'm waiting for now from Jerryd is to throw down on a big man like KJ did on the Dream.

'Cause Kevin Johnson was part of the "let's jack Rudy's scores" in last year's Slam Dunk Contest. That's why no one around here likes him.

I really hope people don't hold a grudge over a slam dunk contest..Rudy did pretty well, but the whole thing is lame anyways. Bring back the days when 10 guys got to dunk and actually make them on their 1st attempt.

Greg wants a fresh start. Portland wants a fresh start. And thank you, Siccolo, for comparing this to B Roy. Any draft prospect is going to be pretty impressed with what GO can do on the court... even a 75% GO. A kid that has no idea what NBA game...

To go another season with so many rookies is not a good idea. We need a couple of vets and atleast one young bench scorer. If we want a Center, go after Hawes from Philly and Dorrell wright can be signed as a free agent. We can trade our 2nd round...

Thanks Ricky.   I''ll be watching @ 10.   Haven''t seen enough right hand from Shazamm.   Without the ability to take his defender either way off the bounce, let alone finish at the cup with either hand?   Second rounder at best.

Sug81 I love Iggy but this team has numerous gaping holes throughout the depth chart so signing Iggy is not the best way to spend our limited funds

That roster looks pretty good, but if we would have enough cash Corey or Ronnie brewer would be nice
