    Breaking news on radio. Andre Miller will assume starting point duties. Jarryd will have his minutes markedly increased, probably around 20+ minutes a game. Blake will play point for second unit. Thought you all would like to know.

    Ya man, it's Andre Miller Day. They want him to do real real good so KPrich can Prichslap him to some other team for a Solid SF. or if possible a center but idk about that. Dec 15 is the first day that the FreeAgents from this summer's acquisition are eligible to be traded and everyone thinks that Andre is gonna be on the first bus outta hear. Cuz we need depth and he doesn't play nice with broy. Which sucks, i'd way rather keep him and send blake. BUUUUTTT that's good news for Bayless. These are all rumors though, but I mean we basically need to make a move to do something more than just make the playoffs. (and yes i still think we can make the playoffs) And if we got someone who was on his last contract year that'd relieve cap room wouldn't it allowing us to make a dip, not a splash, in free agency this summer????? Anyways, if the offers come in for Miller we pretty much have no choice. As much as I'd love to see him excel in our city, He's not, no one really is. his numbers are down, roy's numbers are down. Blake's numbers are down. the only guard we have left that's numbers are up is Bayless, which is awesome, I wanna see that kid's skills. Another thing though, Jbaybay is a little ancy to play more minutes, so he may be asking for trade, and he only has like 2.1 mil on his contract and I guess he's attracting all the offers, people like his upside. But So do I, so we better keep him. When's Patty Mills supposed to return? Is it this season, Jeff's about ready to come play. So we could get some depth back by 2010?     Well if Miller really does a great job at running the show along side Brandon, it would be foolish to pawn him off to another team. This is the Portland Trail Blazes, a franchise not accustomed to having great point guards. In fact, the last "legit" point guard we had was Rod Strickland back in the mid 90's. If Dre works out as a starter, then KEEP HIM! Blazer fans have been dreaming of a great point guard for a long time, don't give him away if he pans out.
    We have Travis and Batum coming back next year to shore up the small forward and we can slowly but surely glide Bayless into the starting role once Miller's contract is up.

    Dre had a rough go about during his first start as the sole point guard, but we won. Let's see if starting Dre along side Roy is the recipe for success. The one thing I have noticed about Steve which drives me bananas is his inability to throw entry passes. He just takes too long and ends up wasting a good 5 seconds off of the shot clock. If he wants to see minutes, he needs to be more decisive. Last year, he didn't hesitate as much and had a career year. I know he is slumping, but we need more than 5 points a night from him. He is getting open looks, but knock em down!
