    Uncharacteristically, this team dropped the 1st game of the road trip in New York and now has a day off tomorrow before they take on the Pacers on Wednesday. Conseco has been a house of horrors and Portland will need to find SOME offensive rhythm if they want to have a chance on Wednesday.
    On a personal level, I'd love to see Bayless get much more playing time than the 15 minutes of run he got against the Knicks, in which he scored 14 points and really was the spark we needed to make the game respectable. I believe this season is going to be very tough and when the chips are down, you need scrappy players like Jerryd who go all out all the time and would like to see how he reacts to having his minutes increased to 25-30 a night.

    Siccolo, did you mean heavier or lighter? I don''t think Noel will do well in the league. If he stays healthy long enough, he might be a half decent starter, if not, Greg Oden.

    joint option for year three at like 8 million. Then if he works out you got him for a bargain for 2-3 years and if not it costs only 1.2 million for next year.
