Ah yes...1970! I was only 8 at the time and I was instantly a Blazer fan after my grandfather took me to a game vs The New York Knicks (I still have the program). Geoff Petrie was my idol and basketball was all that mattered in my short life. I remember going to games after that where you could move to other seats because nobody hardly showed up. I believe there was no 24 second clock, no 3 pointers, and penalty meant 3 shots to make two at the foul line. Not quite clear on all that now so I might be wrong??? LOL

I never got that team picture but got the next 3 seasons team pictures at Farrells I believe. I at one time had all the Texaco photos but I think I traded them for other stuff I wanted. Anyhow, it was a great time for Portland sports history and I am glad the team has been able to stay there and continue to increase the fan base. Rip City baby! I have been faithfull for all 40 years :-)

    peace out,
    daddy

The problem with JJ remains the same at the 4 or 5 he is just not a good enough defender. Milsap and especially Smith are good defenders. The also both offer more on the offensive side than JJ does.

Exactamundo. Seriously though, both of you''ll are right. The blame should be placed on the attacker, not Lillard. That being said, Dame should have stepped in.

Sanders is 6''11" Cailin he is about 5 pounds lighter than LA so his size should not be an issue.

  6. A question that could have team implications if it were to happen.

I completely agree. Pierce would bring a culture change. And we as a team really needed someone to help our young players through the tough times. Jeffires and Pavlovic were veterans who didn''t see much court time and from what I saw didn''t real...

Joakim Noah has had his injury troubles. His crazy game and high energy make him a constant injury threat. What separates him from Oden and Rose (I had to just mention him) is his willingness to play the way he loves.
