Now that it looks like our 2nd round rookie Dante Cunningham got a promotion to backup power forward we will all get more of a chance to view his game. We all got glimpses of what he was able to do in summer league, but it is hard to tell if it is going to translate over into the regular season. I mean Qyntel Woods just to tear up the summer league and even Bo Outlaw racked up 40 points before.

After watching his game and reading other people's opinions about him, one person said he reminded him of Joe Smith and I couldn't agree more. They both have the smooth, sweet, mid-range jump shot, are very smart basketball players, and are underrated defenders.

There is no doubt there is no replacing Mr. 4th Quarter for the time being, but I have all the confidence in the world that Dante can come in for 10-15 minutes a night, giving LMA a short breather, and be a threat to score the ball. If opposing teams think they can take the next shift off defensively because LaMarcus went out, they will be sorely disappointed when Dante makes 15 ft jumpers rain down in many different ways, such as catch and shoot or pick and pop.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
