This is it like the great Michael Jackson sings on his latest released LP. The Blazers has been winning the games that we expect them too; other than the stumbling lost vs Golden State. I know this happens to some teams. This is the life of a 82-game grueling city. December is a new test for this up-and-coming Blazer team with the seven playoff caliber teams. The Denver Nuggets are amongs one these games that Portland must grab. I have one motto for this team, "No Excuses!" Are we confident in our team playing 8 road games out of 14? Yes! Does it matter that Miami, Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Cleveland, San Antonio, and Dallas? I don't think so. Portland has the firepower to display their talent on the east coast. I think this month could determine where this team is. This the time to play defense, show who's the best in the Northwest Division Title. Make some noise Portland and cheer our team to a victories December. Much love to you, Blazer fans!!
I am a fan of of Lamarcus Aldridge leading this team to greatness!

I totally agree! There should be no excuses with this team due to their talent. Even though we have had the unfortunate losses of Batum and Outlaw, Martell is more than capable of being an outside threat and Dante has a smooth jumper than can help offset the loss of Outlaw.
I think we, as fans, should be more worried about games like tomorrow against the Nets, because, like you said, it is a long 82 game season and it is extremely hard to get up for each and every game. Honestly, I bet the most motivation is to just not give these guys their first win of the year. No team is going to want to have that on their resume.
The Chicago game gave me a lot of confidence in this team though. A win is a win, but we were playing some lackluster ball against the not-so-best competition earlier this month which saw a few double digit leads lost so it was nice to see Portland get up big and keep their foot on the pedal.
Outside of the Lakers, there is no dominant 2nd team in the West so the #2 seed is definitely up for grabs. Defense will be the key to a strong December against a very grueling schedule but I have faith in this squad to come out looking good heading into the New Year!

It is a long season... the Spurs were picked to be #2 in the West. They've had a hard go at the beginning with injuries and getting everything to gel. However, you can bet that "Pop" and Duncan will get ready for battle come March and April.

These early season games are the ones you don't want to look at in April and cringe when you look back at the schedule. If we lose, you move on to the next game... but I think we all understand how close the race is at the top and the guys do as well.

The Blazers are still one of the youngest teams in the league. It's not their fault if the NBA can't keep up with them.

We could possibly take McCollum with the 10th pick and trade him to the kings for Marcus Thornton. I would personally prefer if we kept McCollum because he can give us scoring off the bench and he will bring that maturity of having been in college...

Pat Riley said this: You get rebounds, you win rings!!! More often than not, the team who wins the battle on the boards will win the game. Rebounds on both ends are extremely important.

What happens if we don''t win? Dwight will start his nonsense, we would be out a lot of money, and with no real talent to show for it. San Antonio and Memphis is proof that you don''t need superstars to win.

You trolling Cmeese? I mean I hate how biased it is. If a woman slaps a man, people will probably be like what did that b*stard do, probably cheated on her, that pig. But if a man slaps a woman, even if it is completely justified, OMG abuse, 2013 ...

Special K, aren''t you a cereal? And yes, Batum is expensive, but I think he''s worth it. Why would you take someone who isn''t is as good, just for less money. Then why don''t we take the worst possible player and pay him the least possible amoun...
