I'm not the least bit concerned about the loss. You knew before Oden touched the ball at the line, it would be a struggle to drop one of two. He's just raw. He won't be that clutch, poised go-to guy. But he's a beast. And before this seasons over, he's gonna rip down rims and send shots to the 12th row.

The Blazers are sitting a lot better than the Lakers right now. At least in the first two games, almost everyone got off, at one point or another. I think Webster had the most to prove, out there, and he played real well.  Brandon, Rudy, LaMarcus, Outlaw and Miller all had flashes of scoring hot streaks.  Oden's defense has improved since last year, even though he still commits some bad fouls and turns the ball over too much.  I like Howard as an addition.  Joel and Blakey are just plain solid.  They don't set the world on fire, but they will win games for you.  Andre Miller was a perfect fit.  Sergio was a defensive liability and now he can back down less physical guards.  It might take a little while, but you got to find some minutes for Bayless.  He can fill it up, and he's got fire.  Gotta get more minutes for Rudy.  As for the Denver loss, critical turnovers, lapses in key defensive rebounding, and obviously, free throws.  Add Carmelo going bonkers, and you get a loss. (by the way, after 2 games people are saying Melo for MVP-calm down, he's good, but not that good.  I'll take Brandon Roy, any day)

Sanders is a good fit, like to run, Pretty much the same offensive game as JJ, except JJ is a little better around the rim and has that close-mid range game. I think Henson is decent too. I didn''t get to see a lot of his game, as he didn''t play ...

Well, I still think he won''t do great in his career. Seems weak.

Paul Allen might sell the Blazers but the Blazers will never leave Rip City.
