I love me some Jimmy Butler and think the guy is going to do big things this season and would love to get him.

His perimeter defense is amazing and I fully expect his shooting and offense to become more consistent this season.

I think there is a chance to get this guy before the price gets out of control but we would need to be willing to act fast.

Is there anyone out there that makes you think they are just going to blow up and become a potential star and you want them on the team?

If so who are they and what would you give up to get them.

I felt this way about Tobias Harris..

BIg fan of Mo Harkless too, but ORL wont give either up. John Henson will be a beast, Jonas Valincunas and Kanter will have big seasons.

I feel that way about Jimmy definitely. He is going to become a big name in the NBA some day. Love his work.

I'm also a big fan of the young talent that Orlando has (Harkless, Vucevic, Harris, Oladipo) I reckon they'll all be terrific players in the near future.

Yeah Orlando is set. They need to get a real PG though Oladipo is NOT a PG. And if we're gonna get Jimmy Butler I'd trade Batum. Money wise it would be great, and Butler is a good three point shooter, excellent defender, and attacks the rack.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

Anyone have Jimmy Butler's interview from Portland's media day?

    http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/sights-and-sounds-media-day.html

Nope. Looks like just a picture at the very bottom. That black and red color can be confusing when reading is a challenge for me. He's still a Chicago Bull. : (   Hey, maybe we could trade him for Batum.  That would be great.  Batum is so "inconsistant," even though I ignore the facts and stats.  I wish I could go a week without suggesting a trade, but alas, fantasy is my reality.

It is good to see you coming around to the idea of trading Batum.

While I think Batum would be an attractive piece for the Bulls I would be much more excited by pairing him with Butler.

Would sacrifice McCollum to add Butler also would give up Williams.

Nothing better than an ultra athletic three and d guy like Butler.

I would also love beyond words getting Larry Sanders.

    Or Eric Bledsoe.

Having Butler, Bledsoe and Sanders on the floor at one time would be terrifying to opposing offenses.

While that line up is probably unrealistic I am going to add them on my NBA 2k14 team and tear it up.

Butler is gone no reason to mention him let alone go into depth maybe cmeese was just highlighting Butler...

Hickson is off limits, but let's talk about Jimmy "Chicago Bulls" Butler.  lol

I've been behind the wheel of that Sanders bus, however his recent extension makes acquiring his services even less likely than before.  Also apprehensive of the back.  Truly a shame Allen didn't see enough in his Portland pre-draft workout to use a pick on him.  Sanders joins a long list of players attainable for this team in the draft that were passed over.  Lawson and Faried headline that list...but Nolan Smith was the better decision (sarcasm intended).  Hindsight is 20/20.

Hickson should be off limits for LA to talk about as fans we are free to discuss whoever. But the last thing a team leader needs to do is run down anybody who is no longer with the team or in the room to defend themselves.

I am not too concerned about Sanders back because he is not nearly as massive as someone like Howard or Sullinger. His lighter frame should help him in this case.

I do believe he would be better suited paired with someone like Noah, Hibbert or Gasol a big physical defender but he was pretty great on his own last year.

If Greg Oden's fragility is behind him, he's got the game to be a beast of a center. There's that pesky "if" to contend with but so be it! I don't see the Bulls moving Butler. I like his game though! I give Chicago's coach a lot of respect. Thibs and Pops are elite defensive coaches. I hope Tibbetts is cut from the same cloth

I agree the Bulls are much more likely to move Deng to make room for Butler than they are to move Butler to keep Deng.

However, if a move could be made and I believe their is a move to be had I would love to see him on the Blazers roster.
