Shout out to Wes for preaching defense already to the young guys and to Joel, Meyers, Thomas and Robin for working together before camp!

It was disappointing to see Nic take on the role he did too often under Nate McMillain during this Euro tournament, but I can only think this is a good thing, as Nic has openly stated he's not satisfied with his play.

While appriciate Joel choosing to skip the tourney to work on his game, I am equally appriciative that Nic and Victor did not. I think it's a great wake up call for them to come to camp ready to work.

I like that Victor and Nic played for their national teams as well. They both play on good teams. Joel's team however...ehhh..he's better off preparing for the season here. At least Victor and Nico got some cardio and defensive work in before the season. I can't imagine guys of their caliber really enjoying the euro game after an NBA season. They are both looking really good defensively and yeah...Tony Parker had 32 pts but only 1 assist...Nate ball! Victor should be here soon now.

I liked that Batum played against real competition same with Claver. I think it is important at least defensively.

I am a fan of Getting Defensive Players This Summer.

Any player coming off an NBA regular season or even playoff run (Parker) should get big props for supporting the national team in the offseason. Victor and Nico had compressed training camps and came into the FIBA tournaments probably from vacation and I'm real happy they've gotten this kind of workout before camp here. Nic also came into camp in June in Portland to work on things. Shows how much they love the game and I appreciate the effort! Both Victor and Nico are really unique players and I'm glad they're Blazers!

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
