i love our off season moves he added a 7 footer in Lopez got a bench in Robinson, Crabbe, McCollum, Wright, Watson, Williams will give us great scoring punch that we were missing last year. do you think that made Lamarcus happy ? i think so or atleast for the time being. but i figured hearing Neil talk i think a BIGGER move is in the works depending on what direction we are going as far as win totals. i think if were in the playoff race then i think we are gonna make a trade to either get a better center or try to add another piece to our CORE. if we arent doing to good i think Neil will make a trade to get rid of LA and build around Lillard, no matter what i do think he is planning on building this trade for a bigger trade. i feel like hes following the rockets blue print collect assets, and finally land that superstar . only players i feel on this team that are untouchable is LA and Lillard honestly if we have to trade something to get that superstar to go along with Lillard and LA im all for it. again Neil is planning a smart plan to make a bigger move later on in the season, maybe its to get a upgrade at the SG, maybe to get a better starting center you never know what neil has under his sleeve now that we have assets. cuz with this team i feel there is only acouple teams in the west who are better then the blazers, Clippers, Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, i think we can be better then the rockets, grizzlies, nuggets, Lakers, T-Wolves .

    1. Spurs

    2. Clippers

    3. Thunder

    4. Warriors

    5. Rockets

    6. Blazers

    7. Grizzlies

    8. Lakers

i think this is gonna be the playoff race.

but like i said he's collecting alot of assets to pull off a bigger trade, thats gonna pull in a bigger fish to go along with LA and Lillard i feel if he pulls off a blockbuster trade to improve our team now and in the future i think LA will stay and sign a long term deal here in portland, cuz he knows Neil wants to build a championship contender here in portland .

Given the draft depth next season, I think at the trade deadline there will be a lot of movement across the league. Last season we had no chips. This season we have quite a few. I like where we're at now but every team will know what to tweak after the allstar break.

I like what the squad looks like. We are going to be able to compete with anyone.

The team does have options. Mo Williams was a huge signing for this reason alone. He represent a solid and affordable veteran that teams covet at the deadline. We also have nice depth at SG, provided Crabbe and Barton get some minutes to develop.

I am not really sure if there is a big name out there this deadline to make a splash with. Which while not ideal could be very important to the Blazers if they were to become sellers.

My greatest wish is that Marc Gasol or Joakim Noah demand a trade and Olshey can swoop in haha

I'm giving Robin Lopez, Meyers Leonard, Thomas Robinson and Joel Freeland some rope here to anchor the paint.

I think we might have picked up Lopez at exactly the right time in his career. By february we'll know how much improvement they've achieved. Time to get behind this roster as it stands. At this point we're undefeated. Winning will answer all of the questions we've had for a long time. The ball is in Stotts court now. How he rotates these guys and uses the bench will speak volumes as to the success of next season. Lopez said one thing I really liked on his introduction interview. Defense is a team concept. He's a bright young man.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
