i think this trade makes sense for all parties, if we had to trade LA(which i dont want to do).

    Blazers get : Carlos Boozer 15m 2 years Omar Asik 8m 2 years & Klay Thompson 2m 2 years.

Rockets get : Taj Gibson 7m 4 years Robin Lopez 5m 2 years

Golden State gets : Lamarcus Aldridge 14m 2 years Wesley Matthews 6m 2 years

Bulls get : David Lee 13m 3 years Terrance Jones 1m 3 years Festus Ezeli 1m 3 years

bulls get a replacement, to pick up for carlos boozer and is a upgrade and also get two back up bigs who can upside and are very cheap. Rose, Deng, Lee, Noah .

rockets get taj gibson the power forward they need he has good D & can play along side of dwight and very underrated, they also get another center just in case camby cant play has size and is a pretty good defender.

golden state get a AllSTAR PF who wants to go to a contender and is ready to win now gives them size can shoot and score and can play next to a big center in bogut and when they go small can play center. gets to play with curry and AI and barnes . matthews can side right to that two guard spot can shoot and defend, and is a vet and can teach barnes alot . LA, AI, Curry, Bogut, Barnes, Matthews very good teach who is in WIN NOW mode.

    FINALLY the blazers

Carlos Boozer : big body isnt the greatest defender but can give you a toughness and give you a double double everynight . and can help give some of the stats LA gives us hes a vet and his contract will be over in 2 years and then we can go out and find another young PF our slide robinson into that spot if he shows he can be something in this league and he can learn from boozer to become a good PF in this league.

Omar Asik : SIZE DEFENSE and REBOUNDS the perfect center the blazers could have still young and only gettin better on the Defensive end, i love his toughness and hes in the age range as our other core players batum, lillard, also his contract ends in two years where we will have alot of cap space and can sign him to a long term contract with 5 years to build with Lillard, then we could find out in two years if Lenoard is someone we want to keep if not we can draft or sign a back up and Asik will be our center of the future.

Klay Thompson : 6'7 SHOOTER this guy is a dead eye shooter, i love his upside and has the size to play the 2 or 3 can create his own shot and him and lillard together would be really really scary. he would be able to grow with our core of lillard, batum, asik and also again his contract would end in the summer of 2015 he would be able to get signed to 5 year deal and that would be our core to build around Lillard, Batum, Asik, Thompson i think he can be better and i think he can be a really good defender, him coming off a screen would be really scary . we could have a nice core and all we would need is a 4 we'd be young but teams would have to learn how to stop all three of our shooters.

so what do you guys think of a core of Asik, Lillard, Batum, Thompson i think that team could be a serious contender in acouple years .

my only problem with this if T-Rob is in are future plans he and Asik well conflict alot both re bounders and Defensive guys now if we move meyers to PF which would be weird but could work cause he has the shooting ability two 7'0'' on the court would be cray oh and i dont think we would get much effort out of boozer i like clay thompsan alot but i doubt GW will wanna give him up

Beside the fact I do not like Boozer's play, I think it would be hard for four teams to agree on anything.  I think it would be hard to pry Klay from Golden State.

I like Mark Jackson. Good guy,God fearing, excellent ball player,as far as i know invented the tear drop and has turned out to be a pretty damn good coach who has the ability to effectively communicate with his players. Anyone who watched the playoffs last year and listened to when he was mic'd up heard him say to his squad, " Im jealous right now because i want to suit up and play " or something along those lines. I'll find the clip later. But i digress, i'd love to have Klay T here for nostalgic purposes. His dad played here and how cool would that be for him to win a ring here. But to get KT here would require a feat of gigantic proportion. Unless im mistaken they only Now have a defensive minded player, Iggy. Bogut is decent but everytime i see him,he looks one rebound or fall away from a career ending injury. Not that i wish any player injury but he always looked a bit tentative unless it was a clean look. Unlike Wesley who plays with a wreckless abandon and a total disregard for physical preservation, Bogut looks conscious of every step he takes. Having said that, KT's defense , if i can call it that needs alot of work at the 2 spot.Kind of like B-Roy's did. His lack of D would have to be made evident in crunch times to bring down his value. Truth be told, high scoring teams dont impress me as much these days. D'Antonis run and gun PHX offense exposed all the action figures back in the day that ran fast but didnt run long. Im more a fan of that SAS,Memphis,Chicago and Indiana grind down game. 87-85 or 91-89 final score games.Chalupa fans will be asking for my head if they here this. I know, im all over the place, but August is when that basketball junky monkey is on my back.Coltranes " My favorite Things " is playing and 3 shots of Tequilla later im here spewing.
I am a fan of our new roster playing with and for eachother.

LOL. Right there with you sir. And 100% agreed on my preferential type of gameplay. Can't wait for the season, not just to begin, but to be approaching the end of the regular season; we're going to be a solid playoff team with room to grow, and all these Aldridge trade rumors will finally die away. This team is going in the right direction, and now with the signing of Mo Williams, I'd say it's easily MORE likely he signs a new contract/extension than actually ends up in another jersey next year.

Aldridge, you are OUR player. Rip City all day!

(None of this is meant to be offensive to the trade idea, and it looks like there has been great discussion about the individual pieces! I'm just stoooooked on Blazers right now and like Common said... Definitely hearing the Coltrane. The basketball junky monkey has got some chops on the sax!)

I am a fan of BLAZER BASKETBALL. Not drafts, not business, not trades, not David Stern. Just BLAZER BASKETBALL.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
