as things currently stand i love our roster in adding Lopez, McCollum, Crabbe, Robinson,Wright, Watson,

a good vet center can score alittle bit, and is still young and getting better and i love the fact he is working on his game with The Dream showing he wants to get better a true 7'0 footer i think hes only gonna get better next to LA cuz no plays have to be ran for him.

Crabbe good shooter young, still needs to find his shot but i think he can be a upgrade on our bench.

Wright great shooter something us blazer fans are use too, he can play alot of positions, 2,3, can play pretty good D and he can provide a bench spark and you can play him and Batum together love it.

Robinson has something to prove being trade twice this season finally gettin a clean slate, he can rebound, hes tough and thats something we need toughness on this team and still very young and only gettin better.

Watson great vet mind whos going to help lillard in becoming more of a professional and just teaching and showing him the ropes.

McCollum GREAT scorer who i think can only get better, another 4 year college player who has a chip on his shoulder who can be a great back up and also play alongside lillard and i think he will play better once the season starts cuz he'll be playing with better players i love this pic because he gives up instant offense off the bench and i love that.

i love all of our pick ups, Neil did his best with what he had in 3 second rounders, the 10th pick, and 12 mill, he filled all of our holes Center, Back up power forward, back up PG, and back up small forward, so Barton, Freeland, and Claver all our going to have to work hard for mins.

so with that said im all for Keeping LA , i love him since we have drafted him and i understand there are all these different rumors but if he left why not get a younger verison of him .

Greg Monroe he has size, skills, can play center and power foward hes only 23 and getting better. maybe a trade like this.

Pistons get : LA 2 years 14 mill and future draft picks and Will Barton

Blazers get : Greg Monroe 1 year 4 mill and Rodney Stuckey 1 year 8.5 mill

Pistons are tryna win now so they add a good cheap shooting guard, and the best PF in the west, blazers get monroe young and cheaper with Stuckey on his 1 year deal so we can have some money for next off season.

monroe can be our younger LA and stuckey can provide scoring off the bench .

i like this trade but idk let me know what you think, i do think Neil has a couple more tricks up his sleeve depending on how are season goes but also this trade can set us up for NOW and LONG TERM cuz monroe is still very young and can grow with Lillard, Lenoard, McCollum, Robinson, Batum

    1. Lillard/McCollum/Watson

    2. Matthews/Stuckey/Crabbe

    3. Batum/Wright/Claver

    4. Monroe/Robinson/Freeland

    5. Lopez/Lenoard/Monroe

what you think blazer nation ?

I would wait and see what we have in CJ, Robinson, Leonard and see there is a slight chance we can be competitive and MAYBE Aldridge would want to stay.

By the deadline if we are barely getting by then I would do this trade. Stuckey contract will come off the books then we can extend Monroe.

If we trade Aldridge I would want to get in on this "Once in a decade Draft" So maybe a stelth tank would be a good idea again this year so we can have a great asset (2014 lottery pick)

I think we're deep enough this season to play 5 in and 5 out..when's the last time that happened? Our 3rd stringers are better than our 2nd string from last season so I see nothing but upside with this roster. I think our starting 5 will be able to beat anybody.

im with you riverman and this year i know are back ups can score if we play team basketball i think we can can shoot for the five spot considering we had close to the worst bench in the league and still almost made the playoffs last season before we had that terrible streak

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
