I'm hoping CJ McCollum having a degree in sports journalism keeps an active blog on the Blazers website. Nice to read about the team from a player in the trenches that can write. LaMarcus has a blog that is rarley updated but given CJs talent, I look forward to reading his thoughts on the season. Welcome to Portland CJ and hope you do start a blog here.

I just tweeted CJ to join us here and become the first Blazer Journalist to establish a blog. I think what you said is a great idea. Getting first hand perspectives from an actual Blazers player.

I usually agree with you, river and common, but I'd rather not have a player focusing on a blog during the season. Only if he writes it on the plane when they're travelling. Otherwise, no blog please.

I understand your concerns D_pickett but writers write everyday. He's a smart kid and I think he will handle it all in stride. I'd rather a regular blog than constant tweeting myself but that's just my take on it. Athletes travel a lot and have a lot of time spent waiting for a flight, a practice, an interview, etc....from my travels it's a great way to pass that time and fill those gaps on the road.

Even to drop us a few lines after the games when he's on the bus or plane. Doesn't have to be a quarter page article, just let us know cool stuff like a little behind the scene's stuff.

Isn't that basically what Twitter is?

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

Having never owned a cell phone or tweeted, I wouldn't know but seeing twitter feeds on sports sights it seems to be like skimming headlines without bothering to write an in depth article. "Went to the movie, it was great" would not really be a blog but could be a tweet. Now that's just my take on it.

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...

Yeah and now Blazers have zero interest in Bynum. I really thought he was worth the small risk. If anything he would be at the end of our bench and we use him as a sub. Hopefully we do make some type of trade for a quality back up center. Right no...
