    Andre Miller - 3 yrs @ $21 million (3rd yr team option)? OR Ramon Sessions - 4 yrs @ 16 million? Discuss. :)

Well, hindsight is 20-20, but I think I'd go with Sessions for the upside and the value at 4 years for $4M per.

Of course the only superpower KP doesn't have is the ability to see the future.  So, having been burnt on Hedo and Millsap already this year, I don't think KP had any interest in a Restricted free agent.  We were tied up in Millsap for a week, just to get turned down.

The T'wolves got a heckuva deal on Sessions.  His next contract will be $9M-11M/year in 2013.

We got what we needed in a team leader and good defender.  I think we're a MUCH better team this year than last!

I still take Miller. For all we know Sessions could fold in the Playoffs, we know what we're getting in Miller. It's worth the extra money to get a proven commodoty that is driven to win. Typically I save these topics for my Blog, but this really needs to be discussed in context. Yeah, the Wolves are going to be a lot better this year with Sessions, Jefferson, Flynn and Love. Not to say they will be in the top 6 in the west, but they could crack the 8.
I still think Miller is the better deal for Portland. It gives another veteran leader to the team, plus he will compliment Rudy really well. Speaking of Rudy, how disappointing has Ricky Rubio been. The kid needs to develop a jump shot, dang.

Yeah, if we're looking at just the money, the obvious choice here is Sessions. That said, I also still go with Miller. As RCR said, you know what you're getting. Also, I think he can come in and add some depth and perspective and a voice that the Blazers haven't exactly had during the rise of the current team nucleus.

Also, I think this is actually the more favorable of the two for Jerryd Bayless. While adding another point guard to the team may have bumped J.Bay back onto the bench, we added someone who is only guaranteed to be around for 2 years as opposed to 4, and someone who is likely more on his way out of the league than into it. I think Miller can also help Jerryd develop a lot, moreso than Blake's example and leadership, and it will truly give an assist (no pun intended) to Jerryd becoming the future of this team at point guard, if that really is what's meant to happen. Granted, it is going to hurt a bit to have 2 more developmental years (as opposed to simply getting a load of minutes to work with and working it out himself), but I think the leadership and tutoring of a veteran, talented player will be good for Bayless to have around.

Yea it would, for me, still be Miller.......he gives us more of what we were looking for anyway which is that VETERAN leader and PROVEN player to help our young team get to the places it has been planning to go. Also, yes Sessions was a cheaper choice but its not like the team went over the budget with getting Miller they actually saved money and spent way less than they planned to this summer which of course we all know....

Cmeese, actually Nico is kinda aggressive. He is always arguing with the refs. Not in his play though.

You guys know how I feel about that. Thompson would be great, but not for LMA. Your deal is actually pretty solid and has a decent chance of happening compared to others, but Olshey has said LMA ain''t going  anywhere.

That is a tempting deal, but Batum''s potential outweighs them all. Let''s forget whether he will actually become an All Star or not. When we signed him on that contract, he had the potential. Great potential. That was worth it. I think he will li...

Wow some serious high hopes for JJ there.

@Cailin Isn''t a little ironic that the Heat are on pace to win a second straight NBA title despite being the worst rebounding team statistically in the NBA this season.

I would trade the pick, the team is in rebuild mode and I am not sure Burke is the guy I really want on my team. Since my team needs a PG a PF and maybe a SG depending on how they feel about Afflalo still.

Right now, the most realistic is Asik. If Houston pursue D12, sign and trade JJ and a couple second round picks, maybe Joel Freeland or somebody for Asik.
