And I don't usually like to do this.. But can you imagine if we had gotten Roy Hibbert last offseason....

Talk about the defensive center we need moving forward...

Right now, after denver lost in the 1st round, i think they could use the money they spend in Mcgee somehere else...

So the way i see it he could be a good option, but Mcgee like Leonard will need some veteran help. So i would sign along with Mcgee a vet like Jermaine O´Neal.

Good stuff Nuno. However, i dont know if Denver is as willing to part with the Shaqtin-a-fool Emmy winner...JaVale McGee. I think they are more likely to part with Mosgov who really hasnt gotten an opportunity to shine since he's been in the league.I do agree though about J.O'Neal being a great veteran presence who knows the Blazers as well as the game.

But Denver did extend a QO offer to Mozgov... That kinda leads that they want to keep him because he is cheaper than Mcgee. But Mozgov really wants to play big minutes...

There is a chance they they trade us Mcgee for the 10th pick so they can save money to lock up Iggy and Brewer then they can draft Gobert or another center to replace Mcgee.

We would be beast if we got Hibbert

Talk about looking back what if we moved up to draft Drummond, then signed Asik, signed Evans, and signed Barnes.

Hey that sounds like stuff I suggested.

Who would be our point guard? Nolan Smith, Ronnie Price? We would be even worse than now.

I said last year to draft Lillard and then move up to get Drummond or vice versa but make sure you get both. Asik and Evans would have made us beasts on the glass. Matt Barnes would have given us some toughness and 3 point shooting at SF. Add in Maynor at the deadline and that teams only weakness would be back up SG.

First half of the season I was glad we didn't end up with Hibbert but since the allstar game he's been a beast. Tonight they creamed the Knicks with West and Hibbert in the post. Really great defensive team all around. Raymond Felton stunk it up for the Knicks.

Olshey knew what he was doing offering Hibbert a contract. Hope he does it again this season finding a center.

Matt Barnes doesn't bring 'toughness'. He is one of the dirtiest players in the league, simple as that.

I see where your coming from RC he's one of those wannabe tough guys, he act like he tough until you see through his S... and then he turns to dirty tactics and acts like a child, it's like no one sweating you and your Mickey Mouse tattoo's.

Dirty play, or tough Barnes has been very effective and would have been a huge upgrade over Claver and Babbitt

This post got way off topic. It's cool, I'm just making an observation ;)

Thanks for that Riverman. This season has been a stressful one to say the least. I'm happy, but it's been a lot to try and understand lol. I figured I would give myself a few weeks or however long to get back into it with a positive mindset.

I've grown to see that right after the season ends, unless we were in the playoffs and doing well, most of everybody looks back at the season in frustration (which isn't a bad thing, I like fans who have higher expectations).. but it often leads to overwhelming amounts of negativity surrounding players, coaches, and the GM.

I can often fall into that category right after the season. So I enjoy the break from the site, discussion, and the sport itself. I'll be back soon hopefully!

P.S. I'm also getting tons of anticipation for this NFL season to begin.

Go JETS!! And Go Blazers too!.. in the offseason planning and scouting and vacationing and what-not!
