Trail Blazers (33-48) Vs Warriors (46-35)

    What To Watch For

    Will Barton's Progression
A bright light during this month of April has been the solid play from rookie shooting guard, Will Barton. Over his last five games, The Thrill is averaging 16.6 points, on 50% shooting from the field, including 85.7% at the line, 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2 steals. He definitely can play the passing lanes and rebound with the best of them, but to take that next step, WIll's got to work on his outside shot. Over the same period, Barton's shooting just 1-9 from behind the 3-pt line. Once he gets an outside shot down, teams won't be able to sag off of him, which will make his dribble drive even stronger moving forward.

    Defend The 3-Pt Line
Steph Curry is two made 3's away from breaking Ray Allen's single-season record for most made field goals beyond the arc, so you know he'll be hoisting them up with regularity tonight. Along with Curry and his absurd 45.5% from downtown, Golden State features an array of long-range assassins, including Klay Thompson (39.7%), Jarrett Jack (40.6%), and Harrison Barnes (36.1%). Collectively, as a team, Golden State has hit 649 trifectas through 81 games -- 8th highest in the NBA -- on 40.3% shooting from distance, which is tops in the league. The Trail Blazers guards need to play sound, disciplined defense on Golden State's perimeter players. Although David Lee and his league-leading 55 double-doubles may pose a problem down low, Portland's bigs need to hold their own so the wings don't feel the need to double-down, leaving their efficient shooters wide open.

Yeah, so 13 losses. in a row guys. Still love the blazers. Don't want to see JJ leave, but want better defence, you know the story. Can't wait till summer league.

I am a fan of Raymond Felton. Haha, seriously though I'm a fan of Batum's Lobs and JJ's Slams.

Just like to give props to Steph Curry for doing what he did tonight. That's amazing not only to set a record but to do it at his efficiency. And he's a humble, down-to-earth guy. Nothing to dislike about that dude.

13 game losing streak ties Trailblazers all time record.
We haven't seen this stinky of basketball since the team was brand new in 1972.

Paul Allen said how do we get better?  I see no activity in the draft with no draft picks.  The trade possibilities are limited because of the value of our bench players.  We have no cap space.  So I think the improvement of our b...

First Game starts tonight. Houston is a tough first round opponent and they play exceptionally well at home. If we can steal a game or two at their place, I feel like we have extremely good chances.

P.S. Would anybody happen to have a...

The Blazers were winning!  That is the key word, were.  Blazers are living proof that you can live and die by the jumper.  Lately it has been dying.

Hawes will be a hot commodity by the trade deadline, I would think the sixers could find a better offer.

However, I do believe Mo Williams could have somewhat of  a high trade value. Olshey needs to make a deal to get a big man while we...
